AWOW PRESENTS: LuFISTO... IN THE 5 MATCHES THAT WE DREAM(ED) TO SEE!!! #02

OK!

You may ask (if you are not a follower of the Independent circus) : Why LuFisto?

First: It's a hidden commercial of SHINE Wrestling! 😉

Second: We are planing a three articles dedicated to three of the most important all-women promotions and this one is just a preview or "ordeal"!

We are sort of a fans of SHINE and we enjoy to watch their shows! But our favorite part is their roster, that changes drastically from month to month. They have Leva Bates, Santana Garrett, Thea Trinidad (not displayed), Amber O'Neil, Kennadi Brink and many other famous names. Even some current and former TNA Knockouts are passing by from time to time and many current WWE recruits have their good times with this promotion!

The current  SHINE Champion is LuFisto! On April 01, she will have another title defense this time against Su Yung (after retaining her belt in title rematch against the former champion - Ivelisse). LuFisto is a tough woman and she is a vicious fighter, who defeated Allysin Kay and Mercedes Martinez, to be here, at the top of SHINE. We decided to pick up 5 great opponents for her, signed and not signed to SHINE, so let's go:

TAELER HENDRIX

For our biggest disappointment Taeler is no longer part of the SHINE Roster. She is concentrate on her ROH career, as Women of Honor's competitor and color commentator!

But here, we allow ourselves to present  dreamed, not only possible matches.  So we think that Hendrix vs. LuFisto for the belt will be a nice clash. Actually we can see this happening in WSU, where both of them are included in the roster. Why not? But it would be nice to imagine this happening in SHINE.

Back and forth battle, between two legendary and well respected indie workers, with hundreds of matches, behind them. Taeler is really innovative when it comes to fight, so she can oppose LuFisto's strength, and both can work out a nice match!

 VIPER

According to SHINE's official site, Viper is still available for booking with the company.

We can see this match as a clash of the powerhouses. Viper is another innovative star, with stunning senton and surprisingly good technique. She was a part of WWE tryout in England. The fans of SHINE love her and it's a matter of time for her to reach to the title picture. Why not with Rhia O'Reilly and Saraya Knight as enforcers. The three of them can establish a nice English-Irish themed stable.

Of course we expect LuFisto to retain her title or eventually to defeat Viper if the match is not for the belt. But that can create a future war between them and their enforcers (LuFisto is part of C3(4) with Amber O'Neil and Kennadi Brink).

 TESSA BLANCHARD

Yes, Tessa is sort of a newbie for SHINE Wrestling and she has a bitter rivalry with Rachel Ellering, but she is one of the very promising talents, and even WWE noticed that fact. So SHINE freely may allow Blanchard to reach the #1 Contender spot or just to book her against LuFisto, for a good match Rookie vs. Veteran, style!

Blanchard is talented and promising wrestler. If WWE not hiring her, I am counting on ROH. But she is definitely a Superstar material!

ALLYSIN KAY

Allysin Kay (a.k.a. Sienna in TNA) has some history with LuFisto. In the past they fought in one-on-one battle to determine the #1 Contender for the SHINE title. Kay was near that belt on several occasions. It's obvious that these two experienced women are working well together so it will be nice to see them battle for the title belt.

Actually, Kay is one of the greatest choices for future SHINE Champion. Her appearance in TNA is sort of a heat-bringing and career boosting, so it's a matter of time to see her rule SHINE's roster. She deserves that for her loyalty for the promotion!

SANTANA GARRETT

OK! It looks like our wrestling Universe is concentrate around Ivelisse-Santana-Taeler Hendrix-WWE!!! Just kidding (eventually)!

Santana Garrett is respected and talented, very charismatic and agile wrestler. Both TNA and WWE were appreciating these facts (for a while). SHINE Wrestling awarded her hard work and skills by booking her as their 4-th Champion, second long reign of 252 days, 17 defenses. She is 1/2 of the current SHINE Tag Team Champions (with Gabi Castrovinci - former TNA Knockout known as Raquel and WWE Tough Enough contestant).

Santana is someone who has accomplish a lot, someone who can count on for a good match. She has a lot of potential and she is a good suggested opponent for LuFisto. Both of them will work out a really nice battle, putting everything they have in their arsenals and I can imagine how hard will look this title defense in the eyes of the fans. The hard-hitting powerful LuFisto against the gracious and  technical Santana. This is a promising battle.

THIS RUBRIC EDITION HAS BEEN WRITTEN BEFORE WWN LIVE'S MAIN EVENT SHOW AND BEFORE LuFISTO'S TITLE DEFENSE AGAINST SU YUNG!

NXT WOMEN'S BATTLE ROYAL PT. 1: TRIBUTE TO THE FALLEN

After week of dynamic RAW and SmackDown Live, with whole women's divisions put on display in a in-ring and segments action, NXT decided to finished the week with an amazing almost 20 minutes Battle Royal with 15-established and future Superstars, with two special appearances.
We decided to separate our article in two. The first part will be about the fallen competitors in the early stage of the match. The article's gradation is from the least expected to win to those who were the pleasant surprise and were a real game-chagers - the best for us. I want to share my private disappointment about Danielle Kamela's and Deonna Purrazzo's missing.  But at all it was great and there was that pleasant surprise.

THE JAPANESE WAVE

From Asuka in WWE NXT to Sumie Sakai in ROH. Japanese women started their invasion on separate waves, embodied the spirit and tradition of Japan - a highly patriarchal and closed culture. But all these famous pro-wrestlers fought a hard battles to become a Superstars in their native land and then to be called in the 'Bad West' and to make some name for themselves and for Japan's honor and fame worldwide.
Today we are looking at several really great names, who breaks the barriers between East and West, not just crossed them. We will talk about the problems that surrounds these Japanese sensations appearance in USA.
