AWOW WHO IS NEXT?: IN LINE FOR JORDYNNE GRACE'S KOs TITLE

Why did I select an 'unpopular' title for this edition?

What?

For me there is no unpopular title and there was a time when this belt in its old incarnation was put on the line in really exciting matches, way more exciting that WWE's Women's and Divas belts...

A Champion is a Champion! No matter where! This is an accomplishment and award for your hard work and devotion. Yes, sometimes the belt is transferred too quick ('paper champions') or in an absurd manner (an Evening gown match -WWF Sable vs. Debra; or Maria forcing Allie in TNA Impact to lay down for the 3 counts...)... but there is no 'unpopular' title for AWOW and people who love women's wrestling!

So, please, shut-the-hell-up!

Let's focusing on Jrdynne Grace, that stunning young lady who won the Knockouts belt earlier this year (taped on January 18, 2020, broadcast February 11, 2020) from another great Knockout - Taya Valkyrie!

Who's in line and who is a suitable #1 Contender or NEXT Champ?

First let me remind you of the Grades of Suitability!!!

GRADE A:
The most suitable Champion/Challenger. Those who have momentum, skills, gimmick and devotion that fitting into the categories 'CHAMPION' or 'CHALLENGER'.

GRADE B:

Building momentum and working really well, even as 'jobbers' for the others. They have experience and gimmick. They have an attitude. They might be veterans. They are close to contending but still need a little more... a small push.

GRADE C:
Our Wild Cards! It looks like they are nowhere near the title picture, they are losing matches, but they are actually ready to be pushed to the top...

GRADE A:

TAYA VALKYRIE

Taya Valkyrie is someone you can pick with an ease to challenge for the belt. Of course she is not working during the pandemic, but after that... She has a really good chemistry with Grace and they make a really nice matches together!

So, Valkyrie is good enough as a challenger or a titleholder equally! Whatever you book it won't be wrong!

GRADE B:

What? No more A-s?

Mmm, yes! Guys check the old tapes! At this point we don't have anyone fighting for the #1 Contender's spot because of the pandemic and etc. But we have some B-s!!! And they worth it!

KYLIE RAE

I really hope to see Rae, challenging for the belt in a Face vs. Face, sportsmanship match. The dynamic in this matches is different and it's a huge deal to have them, because they are kind of risky to fail and most of the fans prefer to watch heel vs. face, because that is what we usual get!

But let's not miss the word 'sports' in 'sports entertainment' and when you have sports involved the sportsmanship competition between two babyface wrestlers is not out of the table. It must be appreciated! And Rae with her warm smile through the whole match is so sweet and positive touch! But mostly Kylie deserves that opportunity.

SU YUNG

We haven't seen Su Yung, the Undead Bride, for so long! After her brawl with Havok...

Her absence may mean a surprising return and troubles for Jordynne Grace's reign! I don't know if I would drop the belt immediately to Su, but it worth it to have one 'bloody' match involving her as a #1 Contender for sure! She's really great as a character and I really enjoy her run with Impact! And I already told you where I would book you and against who for the gold (see Kylie Rae's booking strategy)...

GRADE C:

Time for the wild cards! Well, I really thought a lot about where to put Kiera Hogan. But I placed her here in the end.

TENILLE DASHWOOD

Tenille is a stunning wild card, but she is somehow so far away from the belt right now, despite the fact that she defeated Taya Valkyrie. The problem here is that she and Jordynne had sort of friendship and if the writers want to end it by sending her against Grace they have to turn her into a heel.

Which will be nice. Imagine Dashwood accompanying Jordynne in her matches and at one point attack her in jealousy, also that might help for a dream feud with Kylie Rae!

KIERA HOGAN

Kiera Hogan could quickly become an A-Grader! This talented young wrestler could really quickly climb the ladder and be in a title match against Jordynne taking a good stand against the powerful Champ.

Hogan is somehow a Knockout, with a really flexible position on the roster - today she might fight and lost to a newcomer, tomorrow she might earn enough heat to face for the belt. She is really great addition to this roster.

ROSEMARY

Rosemary, as well as Havok, Madison Rayne - all this #1 Contender and Champion material Knockouts, are on the sideline. We haven't seen The Deamon Assasin since Rebellion where she defeated Havok which send her a step forward.

In the last few months we haven't see a lot from her and we haven't seen a desire to compete for the gold, but as the rest mentioned she quickly may find herself in the title picture if needed.
