To be honest, at first, the Timeless Toni Storm gimmick/character felt odd to me. It brought back bad memories of Emmalina’s fiasco in WWE. Toni looked out of place at first. I knew her as the serious indie icon — someone who works hard in the ring, has accomplished so much, and was never truly appreciated in WWE (come on… was throwing a pie in Charlotte’s face really the best they could do with her?).
