I had a time to watch the PPV yesterday (finally my WWE Network got used, after months of lethargy)! I love the match and I know that some of the critics, might be concentrated on the fact that most of the action happened outside the ring... C'mon guys! It was Lumberjcks match (not Lumberjill, jut noticed that...e.g. Equality)! Of course the Lumberjacks will have a vital role in it!

RAW OVERVIEW: ANOTHER HISTORICAL EDITION OF RAW

RAW kicked off the week in the women's wrestling with amazing announcement! Of course we had two women's matches, but the 'bomb' was dropped by the RAW Commissioner and Authority Stephanie McMahon!

Dear, WWE Women's Division fans! We've been waiting for this moment for so long, after years of humiliating and degrading matches like evening gown in a pool, bra 'n' panties, chocolate puddings,  swim-suits battle royalsetc. when amazing talents like Trish Stratus, Lita, Ivory, Molly Holly, Jacqueline, Jazz, Victoria, Nidia, Chyna, Beth Phoenix, Eve Torres, Melina, AJ Lee, Michelle McCool, Layla, etc. were used inappropriate in a 3 minutes 'rest room break' matches or absurd angles... Now, we can really talk about Women's wrestling Evolution in WWE! Now with tears of joy and excitement I can say, that January 2018 will be the month of history writing and the start of the new year and new hope for WWE and not only, female Superstars!

(We want all-women's show!)

This week, we finally had our new NXT Women's Champion in action and what an action it was!!! But there was more post-match, in the face of unexpected ally and a promo, that brings 'bad news' for NXT women's division!

The history of TNA/Impact Wrestling/GFW Impact Knockouts division is one of the hardest journeys. While WWE had their Divas and Women's belt, with history of over decade, the things in then-TNA, wasn't that bright for the female wrestlers. 

RAW OVERVIEW: REVENGE IS SERVED COLD

After several weeks of torture, sneaky attacks and ambushes, the Absolution finally got what they deserved and it was fun to be watched. We finally got an answer about Asuka's role and it's to be uniting figure, symbol of RAW women's division hope and strength in the face of the new threat.

It's really nice to see them all forgetting their difference and facing Absolution.

Some people will say that this topic is not important, but for us in AWOW , the WWE.com's Alumni section is really one of the favourite parts of the site, which remind us of the past Superstars, who competed for the #1 Promotion in the world. We even think that NXT must have their own, where to present their former talents. 

Today we browsed. Actually, I didn't browse unintentionally! I was hoping to see Nidia's profile, added somehow. But NO! (I saw AJ Lee and thought 'When they will induct her in the WWE Hall of Fame, with Molly Holly and Ivory, then I saw Emma and my heart started to bleed). So I decided to remind everyone for several big holes in that section.

This week didn't pass without the Riott Squad confronting the rest of the Blue brand women's division!

RAW OVERVIEW: TIMES OF DARKNESS AND TOTAL DOMINATION

Another week passed under the Absolution's total domination!

This week's Raw had two important matches: Paige's in-ring return match and Asuka fighting against fellow Superstar, instead of a jobber. An of course as a spicy addition we had Absolution messing around and throwing punches and moves. 

LAUREL VAN NESS EMERGED TO THE FINALS IN THE KO TITLE TOURNAMENT

The hard work ...and in this case we can add - the madness, payed back!

LVN lived a serious transformation from her beginning in Impact Wrestling, to these days. She is still a serious name as Chelsea Green on the Indie Scene, but her Laurel Van Ness' crazy gimmick is really working for her, padded with her wrestling talent. 

At the last night episode of Impact Wrestling, she defeated Madison Rayne, a former 5-time KO Champion and the rising and known in WSU - KC Spinelli in a back-and-forth Triple Threat Match, to reach to the next level. Now she had to wait for the winner in the match between Rosemary, Allie and Sienna, next week.

While the Absolution brings chaos and total destruction in Raw, without facing their rivals face to face in the ring, in team Blue everything is about competition and matches, every issue is put to be set in the ring (as it must be). 

IMPACT WRESTLING IS GOING TO CROWN THE NEW KO CHAMPION IN A INTERESTING TOURNAMENT

'Is there KO division at all in Impact after Gail Kim's departure?' may some haters ask.

Yes, there is! And in the spirit of the company, we are having new returning one, several we are looking forward to debut and a pack of strong indies, who will rebuilt KO's fame, like Sienna, Allie, LVN and of course our favorite Rosemary!

RAW OVERVIEW: THE ABSOLUTION IS HERE!

We expected 3 vs. 3 Tag Team match. Mickie James, Sasha Banks and Bayley were supposed to be set to even the score against Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The second match of the evening was Dana Brooke vs. Asuka: The Rematch! It was reminding me on something... Oh, look, the same way Emma's rivalry against Asuka went. But Emma lasted more than 4 seconds against the Empress! Please remind me why Emma is out of WWE and someone else is still here?!

With 5 women called to the Main roster (more than the called for the Revolution storyline), NXT looks like almost empty women's locker room!

Alicia Fox is the craziest and fresh choice for Red Brand women's team! You must appreciate the fact that it's not Bayley or Sasha Banks, for a difference. Beating these two was Foxy's top accomplishment for years. I'm happy and intrigued to see where this captainship will lead us all!
