SHIMMER RESULTS: THE CONSTANTLY GROWING TALENTS POOL

 

 

Here are the results from SHIMMER vol.109-110 from the first spring sessions for the all-women legendary promotion. We will stop and comment on some of the interesting for us moments as usual. 

This post is putting the beginning of our expansion, not only as a viewers but as analysts of the Independent women's wrestling scene.

To start your career in the Diva Search Era and to grow up to an Iconic Superstar, that is a high and hard road to success. Especially in biggest and greatest wrestling promotion in the world. The Bella Twins are the latest example for the beauties who turned into Legends.

Now when they are retiring we owe them one post, that expresses our gratitude, because we grow up with them and to appreciate them!

All Elite Wrestling has a new acquisition! And it's a really great one! 

Allie is no more part of Impact Wrestling and after her 'death' was broadcasted it might become really official.

Now, when they (without knowing) created (only one is missing) the dreamed women's roster I was on cloud nine!

THE CONSEQUENSES OF CHARLOTTE'S VICTORY

When I opened the WWE.com today, looking for the last night's SmackDown Live results my reaction was: 

WTF!

That changes everything! The conception of the match, the Blue brand title match at WM 35! OMG! 

IS THE WWE WOMEN'S TAG TEAM GOLD THREATENED TO BE ON THE LINE IN FATAL-4-WAY MATCH?

 

The newly created (resurrected) Women's Tag Team gold is definitely a hot topic. Since the inaugural champs declared its availability to all three brands (what about NXT UK?) and started touring around them, the heat surrounding the title belts became bigger and hotter. 

This week (a stolen) victory by the IIconics changed the picture...somehow!

Is it possible to see the two Aussies involved in a WrestleMania 35 moment?

Why not? 

But before thinking about it, let's check what the situation really is. 

QUICK OVERVIEW: WHAT WAS WWE'S MISTAKE WITH THE MAN?

She was supposed to be top heel on SmackDown Live's roster.

Now she is one of the most cheered Superstars in the whole company. 

Where did WWE's creatives go wrong with her character?

George's Predictions: FastLane 2019

On the road to Wrestlemania, we have our last PPV before the ladies take to the grandest stage of them all, with three matches to get our teeth into. The main one, of course, will be Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair, but the rest of the card looks interesting too.

NXT BOOKING IDEAS: The Vision and The Battle Angel could get reinforcement and more

Xia Li finally made it to the NXT Official Roster, while other fellow WWE PC and Mae Young Classic fellows, still struggling to reach it. 

Finally, the NXT Creatives decided to join two of the most underrated but promising female talents - Vanessa Borne and Aliyah. We are inspired by that surprisingly good booking of our favorite outsiders. It was time to remember that when you have two talents who are good at wrestling/jobbing but struggle with singles storylines you need to align them into a team for better perspectives. 

At this point the talent pool in WWE is huge and many recruits might not make it to the spotlight. We remember Zeda, Abbey Laith and Sage Beckett who was recruited collectively and appeared on the inaugural Mae Young Classic with characters etc. but didn't make it to the NXT official TV roster. Cost-cuts! 

Now we have more and more stunning talents who might not see the promotion. We, in AWOW, decided to use our booking ideas bag to suggest and advocate for several talents.
