What started as a super technical match, quickly turned into a battle of the Titans!
A lot of reversals and some fresh moves applied in the corner of the ring or in the ropes. The match looked well at the beginning and it was what we all expecting from the Blue brand's Superstars - a technical battle. Reversals of the finishers and a lot of damage on injured limbs... Classic formula for successful match.
But then there was a twist that blow off the roof; when Asuka applied a risky neckbreaker from the ring apron! That was the moment when things got really dramatic and exciting. Epic! The match became more and more interesting with every second after that.
Super-Beckploder. Move-thieves. I can say that this match started an evening of great women's matches. It was a nail and tooth fight, and we are sure that this is not over.
In this review I didn't separate the analysis on the two women - champion and contender, because it is impossible. You can't separate them from one another, because both of them were great in their ring abilities and execution. Both of them are fan favorites! And they made a really astonishing battle, that was worth every second, and opened the show in a really dynamic fashion.
Well, that match that was spectacular and earned a lot of credit for both competitors, and could have been left there. I think that this championship match was a great push for further development of rivalry between the two. Surprisingly, The Man was over-pushed by entering the Rumble later on to steal some spotlight for herself!
