Charlotte Flair definitely is WWE Authorities' favorite employee!
Not that she is not a stunningly athletic and charismatic villain character. No one is putting Flair's accomplishment and hard work in doubt - she earned everything with a fight and (kayfabe) dirty tactics! :)
Now as she is the Queen of WWE and NXT we are thinking: Who we want to see facing her, for the belt and not only and it's a hard task because she already has faced everyone that was and is important and famous - from Asuka's winning streak ending to Trish Stratus finally final match(NOOOO! We want one more and one more and one more matches from Trish).
I will start with the obvious one. I won't include Becky Lynch (we are tired of this rivalry and need more recovery time) and Io Shirai (who is her NXT title's #1 Contender). I will look around the Alumni, NXT and WWE women.
I won't put Bianca Belair in the official top 5, because I want to see her fighting for the WWE Raw Women's belt...
Let's see what we chose in this hard to put together top 5:
RHEA RIPLEY IN THE REMATCH!!!
Yes! She is an obvious opponent but I think that we need to see... excuse me we dream to see a rematch! Io Shirai's victory in the Ladder match was impressive but it's postponing of the inevitable. I will not be surprised if her one on one with Charlotte turns into Triple Threat...
Actually, I think that we prefer a one-on-one rematch! Not that if Ripley asked to evoke her rematch clause in the Shirai vs. Flair's title match someone will be too much opposing it! But one-on-one sound better!
So, this is something we all might dream about!
LITA OR OTHER ALUMNA/HALL OF FAMER (NOT TRISH)
Lita is someone who comes in mind as a potential challenger. I don't know how possible it is but it would be nice to see the battle of the moonsaults. It might be sort of Legend Killing spree starting for Flair as well...
I also think about several Hall of Famers like Alundra Blayze, Jacqueline, Ivory or All-Mighty Molly Holly (I know that she is not a WWE HoF, it's a matter of time and for me, she is a Hall of Famer).
As Alumni we might concentrate mostly on the active ones as I think that it would be nice to see Victoria in one more match or AJ Lee (the dialogues/war of words between them, would be epic). I think about Melina, maybe Eve Torres (she's not active, but)... JAZZ! Jazz definitely is someone to reckon with!
So many ideas!!!

What about someone who has already been a WWE NXT Women's Champion? Someone so athletic and high-fly that can be a match for the Queen?

That is a great way to return after injury - by challenging for a belt that you helped to be established (next to Sasha, Bayley, Asuka, Paige and other great names) as an elite title that could be defended at WrestleMania!!!
I think that Moon is amazing challenger and that would be one of the most memorable matches in her career (with her matches against Asuka and Baszler). So, come on! Bring it on!!!
THE LEGEND - MERCEDES MARTINEZ
I know that at this point Martinez heat is based on her amazing career and accomplishment prior to WWE, but with the right booking she might get a push and went through the whole NXT women's division like wildfire and earn an opportunity to challenge the Queen and have a really good, why not extreme rules, match for the WWE NXT belt.
Martinez might be a good next-in-line champion, as well! Long rivalry. A little hiatus and reignited feud! Good idea! But I think that the belt is more needed to the likes of Shotzi, so she might be after Shotzi or Dakota Kai, titleholder! She definitely deserves a championship reign!
SHAYNA BASZLER TRYING TO MAKE IT A 'THREE-TIME'
Yes, it would be nice to see a clash between Charlotte and Baszler and I know that many of you would put Mercedes first or Shotzi, or Dakota or even Ripley and Io Shirai, even Candice LeRae... We haven't forgotten all of them. And as I mentioned in the beginning Flair vs. Shirai is not a dream match anymore!
Of course, I prefer to see this NXT Women's Championship two-timer chasing and winning the Raw Women's belt, which is suitable for her. But it would be nice to see an attempt of her, with her usual arrogant confidence to fight the Queen (and to sadly bow down). I think that it would be the clash of the styles because Baszler is really submission and raw brutality oriented, while Charlotte tries to over jump any boundaries and limitations, in combination with sneaky tactics and psychological warfare during combat.
It's one of a hell #1!!!
NOTE: You can see that all of the bonuses are 90% of the NXT women's roster! I have selected these specific ladies with the idea that they will take a really good stand against Charlotte! Of course, the rest may 'feed' her on the way to the next title defense...
Also, as I said - she already has met most of the main roster names and I added Ruby Riott as one of the few she hadn't had a real showdown and if they met they might put a really good match! I thought about Liv Morgan, but - well, book her a match, but non-title maybe. They had some small rivalry in the past (on SmackDown!)! I think that Liv deserve a good rematch, with the usual end...
