IMPACT WRESTLING MAY 18, RESULTS

Well packed show, from IMPACT with some backstage drama.

We can feel the heat going into Under Siege next week.

TRINITY VS. 1/2 KNOCKOUTS WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPION KiLYNN KING / w. Taylor Wilde

After some backstage drama related to the Quintessential Diva Gisele Shaws's entourage and challenging Shaw to solve the problem at Under Siege, Trinity quickly focused on her debut match that night.

KiLynn King didn't become a Knockouts World Tag Team champion via fluke. She put such a solid stand even when her tag team partner - Taylor Wilde was ejected from the ringside for interferences. But in the end, Trinity is who we remember her to be - an amazing athlete who just locked her opponent into submission and won. This is the future of Shaw if she accepts!

The match was dynamic and interesting.

And she did! Sending a lackey to send messages including that she is accepting the challenge for Under Siege and a slap which was blocked and the messenger nailed with a high kick in the head.

WINNER: TRINITY

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

Backstage we saw Alisha Edwards blaming Jordynne Grace that she had pushed her last week's partner - the Impact Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo, out of the ring post intentionally.

The Coven messed up with Jessicka.

JODI THREAT VS. SIERRA

Jody Threat really looks like a serious addition to IMPACT's KOs division.

What I liked about that match, except for the stunning finisher by Threat, was that it was a "feed the star" match, which involved someone not famous, to job for Jodi, but the whole thing wasn't a squash. It was a longer than two seconds fight and the end was really good.

I am curious where that undefeated streak is going. Threat was hyped as well when she was signed, so I am curious how she will fit into the titles and other drama stuff that going on in the promotion.

WINNER: JODY THREAT

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐/5
