You are nothing without your rivals in the wrestling business!

They build you, no matter if they defeat you or vice versa... But out of k**fabe: the rivals are your biggest allies, partners, and even friends. Because they are there to work with you and together you write your names into the wrestling history books. Villains creates heroes or become legends of their own.

Today we are counting ten names who helped our beloved idol Trish Stratus to become a WWE Hall of Famer and a walking Legend with legacy that inspires so many people. Here are ten women, some of who were able to create a lot of their own, but somehow on their way to the fame they collided with Stratus which helped them and her to be where they are now.

CHYNA

It's sad if you forget but the Ninth Wonder of the World and Trish had some issues during their time as valets of Eddie Gurrero and Val Venis, respectively. Trish even broke a vase in Chyna's head and they had a few minutes match for the WWF Women's title, as another star challenged The Wonder after it - Lita!

Overall, both ladies clashed on their way to fame and Trish was often the losing side... but losing with fines. :)

It was a short but intensive rivalry with a huge name, for Stratus!

Who helped who? Chyna was a huge star, long before Trish emerged as a manager and being involved in the Intercontinental title's fights. At this time Stratus was a promising and really beloved villainess who jumped in her client's opponents' faces and mess with the rest of the 'valets'. Chyna definitely is someone who added a kickstart to Trish's career and it must not be forgotten.

MELINA

Another short but memorable and really intense rivalry!

Melina with the help of her tag team - Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury, kidnapped Trish to challenge her for a Women's title match, after eliminating Status in a battle royal at the Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show which gave her the confidence to do it.

The match between them, at Survivor Series, was way more helpful for Melina's career and showed that she is a Champion material and future legend. But it was important for Trish because it showed that she can be helpful to huge prospects in the company and that she is ready to build up others.

I like that short rivalry and it was a really good foundation for their future war on Raw when Carlito was added to the equation to ally himself with Stratus against John Morrison and Melina.

IVORY

As a part of the stable Right to Censor, Ivory was the 'hell for many then-WWF/E Divas, including Trish.

They had some little epic moments in the good old Attitude Era's days and you can say that the veteran (Ivory) was able to push the youngster (Stratus) to her limits! That collaboration gave a lot experience to Trish as Ivory had a lot of previous pro wrestling knowledge... and it was always fun, like the moment when Ivory undressed Trish just to cover her with the top in a Bra 'n' Panties match (where Chyna emerged and undressed Ivory for humiliation).

Ivory for sure is someone with a vital role in Stratus's success, as many others.

STEPHANIE McMAHON-HELMSLEY

That feud was huge!

It's funny fact that all the women who feud with Stephanie McMahon Helmsley received a huge chance and amazing stories during that period, like Lita, Brie Bella,... they just got so much heat for standing against the Boss's daughter.

Trish Stratus and Stephanie had an all-out rivalry by the time when Stratus was involved in one of her biggest storylines with Chairman Vince McMahon. A Whipping match, Intergender matches, a match at No Way Out. That was a really great period and really memorable, important rivalry for both ladies, especially for Trish.

That rivalry showed how mean and vicious Trish can be as a heel. Status assaulted Christy Hemme since her debut by undressing her with the help of Molly Holly and Gail Kim, then ruing Hemme's Playboy cover reveal and spraying the word 'Slut' on her back! So vicious! That led to a match at WrestleMania 21 for the Women's gold!

Someone might say that this rivalry helped Christy to be pushed, but it was also important in Stratus's establishment as a total heel and Champion who must be dethroned. At this period she was able to display a new dimension of her in-ring persona and it was one of the best turns.

Really important in that aspect!

VICTORIA

With an interesting background story (how Trish had stolen opportunities from Victoria when they were fitness models) to stunning Hardcore matches and heated rivalry that lasted until the end of Stratus's career! This is what I call memorable and important.

These two women always gave 101% of themselves tearing each other with never-ending destructive anger. Out of k**fabe now watching them I realize how well and what good chemistry these two had in the ring. I even started to ask myself: Except that Jackie Gayda accident, is there a woman who had worked with Stratus and there was no suitability and chemistry? I think there is no such other case.

Victoria (heel or face) is one of the epic rivals of Trish (face or heel), as they both helped each other so both could become respected and huge names in the wrestling business.

MICKIE JAMES

The reaction at the inaugural Royal Rumble when Trish and Mickie found themselves facing each other told us everything: WWE Universe remember their rivalry!

Suggested to be with Lita, the storyline of the obsessed fan (James) with uncontrollable feelings towards the favorite then-Diva (Stratus), is still one of the best women's rivalries in WWE. The match between Mickie James and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 22 was memorable as well.

Their war continued with some back and forth moments, but overall we can say that Mickie James was one of the most memorable and important rivals of Stratus, for sure. They just worked so well together and their feud is an example of dramatic build-up, on a high level!

JAZZ

When you see Jazz the only associations in your mind are: wild, angry, strong, and dangerous!

Jazz really drives Trish to the edge of her skills and abilities, both making some of the best rivalries in both careers. Their chemistry in the ring was incomparable in many ways because it stood different from all of Stratus's previous feuds. It was somehow filled with raw and savagery. Really dynamic war and most of it developed in the squared circle!

These were total masters of telling the story and showing all the drama between the ropes! Jazz was really a tough challenge for Trish that made her tougher and better!

MOLLY HOLLY

From the Hollys' cousin to Mighty Molly, The Hurricane's sidekick Molly Holly is one of the legendary women that ever stepped in a WWE ring.

Molly and Trish's rivalry which slingshot Holly into the stardom started in 2000 had it's period of lethargy  and then reignites couple of years later. They were vicious enemies or dangerous allies who terrorized the the WWE Divas roster.

The importance of Molly Holly for Stratus career is undoubted. Both really create some real magic in the ring through the years and both elevated each other showing that each one of them could drive beyond her limitations.

For me Molly is one of the best and significant rivals of Trish!

LITA

Who else?

They had a huge rivalry around their teams (the Hardy Boys and T&A) in 2000, a rivalry that was forgotten at some points and reborn with a new fury through the years. They were tag team allies. They were the greatest enemies in WWE past eras. They main event-ed Raw as rivals! They fought the Battle of The Sexes as a friends!

No one have that long and full of twists all the way story like Lita & Trish. Today some Superstars are building such a feuds, but they don't have almost a decade long battle like these two have. Their relationships put them on the top of the best women who have ever worked in WWE.

Lita and Trish's legacy, that they build together most of the time is here and it's long to be remembered.

STACY KEIBLER
They had some really good matches against each other in a different periods of time.

GAIL KIM
Gail Kim was Trish enforcer who turned on Stratus to align herself with Trish's long-time rival Molly Holly.

NIDIA
When the Tough Enough winner were traded to Raw from the Blue brand she quickly found herself in a rivalry with Trish and her enforcers at the time.

TORRIE WILSON

CANDICE MICHELLE

Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle got some feud with Trish while they were aligned with Victoria in the stable Vince's Devils. Michelle even earned a title shot around that time.

JACQUELINE
Jackie had her title shots against Trish as Attitude Era veteran and icon at the time.
