NOTE: Keep transphobia for yourself!
If you don't like, don't get, don't want to get different people's experience of their own self, which is as valid as your own - just go on and don't spit your hatred. We are not the authorities who will judge and determine other people's self-knowledge, experience, and validity, based on our own limited point of view and enforced, accepted norms that change from era to era in human history! Smart people are not doing that! So please don't read this article if you think that it's too much and if you believe that it's all about 'lifestyle', 'choices', 'ideology' or whatever essentialist, creationist or TERF's viewpoint you have adopted ...
I decided to look over a women's division, with a controversial champion for our actually third 'Who is next?' article.
Nyla Rose is not a political, SJW twist of views from the AEW Authorities. SHE is who she is - someone who has been working even harder to hold that title, that is on her shoulder today. Today we are lining up the possible #1 Contender's best candidates and eventual title holders.
Time for grading:
THE GRADES:
GRADE A:
The most suitable Champion/Challenger. Those who have momentum, skills, gimmick, and devotion that fitting into the categories 'CHAMPION' or 'CHALLENGER'.
GRADE B:
Building momentum and working really well, even as 'jobbers' for the others. They have experience and gimmick. They have an attitude. They might be veterans. They are close to contending but still need a little more... a small push.
GRADE C:
Our Wild Cards! It looks like they are nowhere near the title picture, they are losing matches, but they are actually ready to be pushed to the top...

GRADE - A:
Awesome Kong is someone who can stand and win a match against everyone no matter what real or fake 'advantages' they may have. She's experienced, powerful, veteran. Her matches in Impact (TNA) Wrestling, around the globe - there is a real art because she has some losing ends which make her a more real and full-bloodied character, not some Godzilla that is smashing everything.
I think... I know that a rivalry between her and Nyla Rose towards the belt would be epic for AEW and it sure that it might happen and Kong might win her first title in that promotion after a long and dramatic chase of the gold.
The waves of this amazing ladies signing reach even to me - mostly a WWE follower. People, media, were talking about Stadtlander and it looks that she deserves all the attention, not because of a look or something - but because she is a stunning worker.
She had her title shot one-on-one against the Native Beast. It was before the COVID-19 lockdown and it was astonishing. I think that Kris still didn't have the last word and she has the potential to win the belt and to challenge several times. Actually, I want to see her messing with the likes Hikaru Shide and Britt Baker, and the rest of the division, more to build some momentum.
As we talking, Hikaru Shida is already #1 Contender... And she walked a long way to the belt, from being involved in a singles match against Riho, while the rest of the locker room competed in a Casino Battle Royal, to determine who will fight for the honor to be the first AEW Women's World Champion.
I think that Shida has the potential to reach the top. Maybe not now. But she could build a good heat and challenge Nyla and win the match or be a part of a Fatal-4-Way, Triple Threat match and win it.
She is definitely A-Grader!!!
GRADE - B:
Doctor Britt Baker already impressed us on many occasions. She is really someone who is not just on the rise, but on the way to be an AEW icon. She's multi-talented and charismatic.
Why not having a shot soon?
It's going to be a nice battle if not earning her the gold.
Why am I putting the INAUGURAL AEW Women's World title-holder in B-Grade?! The woman who had defeated Rose to become the first owner of the belt...
Because there was a feeling that she became a champion, just to be avoided the controversy. Okay! We can live with that. I don't think that anyone wants to see another reign from her right now. But she is a good challenger and I don't remember: Did she get her rematch?
Another great signing and addition to AEW women's roster who has the potential to be a Champion, as well.
For now, Big Swole is growing through the ranks and developing her character in the promotion, but all of us can see a title match down the road and why not against The Native Beast Nyla Rose.
GRADE - C:
Why not very involved in the women's scene right now, I remember clearly how confident Ford's attack over Rose was in the Casino Battle Royal.
I am putting her in the Wild Cards because she might earn a title opportunity down the road and as a valet she might get a heated rivalry against Allie for example.
Allie is a name! From the ring of SHIMMER through Impact Wrestling and now in AEW, she is an Icon and no matter what her character is now, she is always the typical Wild Card that you can see challenging for the gold.
I really hope to see that happens soon, because she is really good wrestler who can put a nice fight.
Every single woman in AEW might find herself involved in the title picture. From the amazing group of Japanese wrestlers to the last underdog in the roster, because AEW is about opportunities - an equal opportunity.
Nyla Rose has the amazing chance to work and defend the AEW Women's World title against many great and future stars. Also, Rose already has written a page in history as one of the most controversial and trailblazing title holders in a USA main promotion.
