OK. The second SmackDown Live PPV is over and the best part was that we had surprising turn at the beginning! The surprise was bitter, for almost everyone.
This week I decided to write my analysis in a different way ...Kayfabe and The Possible Truth!
NIKKI BELLA VS. CARMELLA
That match was a goo warm up for both women. It was a nice start of the evening for the SDL's women locker room. It was expected...
KAYFABE: Poor Nikki! Recovering from career threatening injury! Returning and get assaulted by some rookie from NXT! Why? Just because she beat Carmella in her hometown and Carmella is sort of jealous!
After weeks of sneak attacks and interference, Nikki received her paybcak! And it was well deserved!
THE POSSIBLE TRUTH: It was obvious that Nikki will won! All that losing, beat down and sneak jump in the back.... it was prelude to well booked and deserved revenge for Nikki! She's fan favorite. Her Bella Army is almost blowing out the roof... They decided to give the little kids and the desperate for justice (!) fans, the desiread end of the saga. The victory of the Good over the Evil. The Face over Heel.
The fans buy it! And that is just great! That was the point. Me and people who love to looking beyond the script...we didn't buy it, on 100%! Yes, this victory was necessary for Nikki's return and establishment as a singles competitor. We enjoy the match. It was nice to see Bella working in the strength specter of her moves set.
But I hope to see Carmella over Nikki this days in SDL. Nikki deserves her victory, it was necessary. Carmella worked hard to be here, so she deserves her push too! I enjoyed how naturally she turned heel. I can only imagine how great she is feeling about working with the longest reigning (in a single reign) Divas Champion. That is so huge for one of the NXT's greatest competitor. I hope that they will not end it without aftermath!
One more match will be great!

SDL's Harley Queen had a really, really, really bad night!
KAYFABE: Imagine it: You prepared for your first biggest opportunity in WWE. All month you train and wrestle to reach that moment. You have even pinned the Champion! Sunday come! You are ready for your first title shot and... poof... everything disappear and the only thing you get is a GLOW!
Alexa was screwed up by the Authorities!
THE POSSIBLE TRUTH: The rumors were running for a week, prior NO Mercy. We, in AWOW heard them, but we decided to stay quiet and sort of helping WWE to play its game.
Do you really think, that they don't know that Becky will not be able to compete? That they learned it in Sunday?
Well, some fans in the hall, obviously think it, because they chanting "bullshits" all the match. I ca understand them. But at the same moment I wanted to enjoy that match. I wanted to see Alexa Bliss competing.
Naomi was bitter surprise for many of the fans, who wanted Becky (or Sasha?). The idea of hiding Becky's injury or health problem, to the last moment, didn't do a favor, to any of the women in the ring.
For me... I enjoyed the decision to have a second match and to start new rivalry. It was nice push for Naomi and a little bit of robbing for Alexa. I can't wait to see how they will continue the storyline.
But this match left a bit of bitter taste in the fans mouths...
