Dear Haters, Eva Marie is no longer part of WWE and I know that you are happy. She was one of those Diva Search/Total Divas products, who were beautiful, but unlucky in the ring. Her career starts in the E! Network's reality show, didn't pay off well for The All-Red beauty. Even her training with The Brian Kendrick, which was one of my favorite Total Divas-Youtube moments and raise the war between her and WWE then-Divas locker room, didn't help a lot. She was hated and pushed forcefully at the end after limitless hiatus, the agony was over!
Good luck, out of WWE, Eva!
We are transporting to the WWE Performance Center - the amazing facility, the Breaking ground of the future WWE Superstars. The land where some adventurers didn't make it (Devin Taylor and more), while the other is passing through many obstacles to be part of NXT and it's Live Events roster. Sweat, blood, tears, injuries. Hard work. A lot of it. To reach the spotlight. But for many women and men down there, the main goal is to be called in the main roster, despite the desire of Drew McIntyre, to make NXT a great brand of its own. Actually, it is a great brand on its own and I love it, sometimes even more than RAW and SDL.
But the new talents needs space. They can bring some fresh air into the Main roster's locker room, no doubts about that, but they need space. So the creatives may call NXT Superstars, but sometimes, they need to clear some space in the respective one division. It's not necessary, but at this point maybe we will reach that point soon.
Who is threatened? This is our opinion and it was not easy for us to make this analysis, but if WWE reaches to the top of the crowded locker room, who will be the most suitable to leave. With Eva Marie released, we have one women's spot in the Blue brand. One spot that can be filled from one or two women from NXT, in order, to bring some space for the PC's trainees like Bianca Belair, Lacey Evans, Abbey Laith, Sage Beckett, Vanessa Borne, and more!
We are ranking our suggestions from 1 to 3, as 3 is the lesser suggestion and one is the concrete one!
FROM RAW:
Sometimes it's really hard to be in the show with a lot of legacy in the WWE Women's wrestling. The show that presented Lita, Trish Stratus, and even Stephanie McMahon, making the Main event for the WWE Women's Championship on separate occasions. The show has a lot of legacies created from the likes of Melina, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Eve Torres, and more. It's hard to book everyone and to find his/her place all of the time. Often the talents with a long hiatus from injuries, are on their way out from the company.
We know that the release from WWE, these days, luckily doesn't mean the end! Sometimes, people need to prove themselves out of the Biggest promotion, to prove their constant love for the business, to return several years later, more mature, more experienced and more assure that this is where they want to be and this is what they want to do - like Maria Kanellis, Maryse, The Bella Twins, and Mickie James.
So this is not the end!
1. SUMMER RAE: EVERY SEASON HAS ITS END
I respect and enjoy the long, hard way that Summer Rae walked from FCW, through NXT and then to WWE. She was actually the first NXT then-Diva to debut on the main roster, instead of Emma, Paige, Audrey Marie, and Sasha Banks, back there. She is funny, she is kind of charismatic and she knows things or two about the ropes (her Indian deathlock and Inverted leg drop bulldog, were ruthless). She has the lethal long legs of Stacy Keibler, but with more passion for the business.
Summer didn't appear ... I can't remember since when! More than 30, 90, 100 days! She had some serious injuries, that holds her back and some acting career attempts to be chased. So, maybe at the end of the summer, the season will end for Rae. Looking professionally, without any personal elements, Summer has no suitability to be involved in any rivalry. She may job or the others and appear on Main event. I'm not sure if she is suitable even for a Manager, at this point. I can't see her into the RAW major scene. Not next to Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax, Emma, and Alexa Bliss, or Paige, when she returns.
So if there is a need to clean a space Summer is our first pick to be released!
2. DANA BROOKE: FAITH IN QUESTION
Dana Brooke has her career beginning as a protegee. The powerful and athletic Superstar, has always bring a controversy to the fans. Was she ready to be called from NXT? Is she good enough for RAW? Is she able to reach the title picture, soon? Which is her actual rivalry? Where is she most of the time?
Most of the time she is on Main Event, facing Nia Jax or Alicia Fox or other, who is not booked at RAW's main card. After her departure from Charlotte and refusal to join Emma, Dana looks more and more inactive. She has some periods of booking, and long period of silence. Many fans even joking, when they see her in RAW "Is Dana Brooke still in WWE?" and this joke is starting to become, slowly a possible reality. If WWE became so crowded, because it is on the edge, Dana is one of the names, who is threatened to be release to search other fields for expression! Her character is not that charismatic and interesting as at the beginning and with the lack of storylines, even with a direct title shot, she will not lift her career off the bottom.
3. ALICIA FOX: THE VETERANS NEED TO RETIRE
Alicia Fox love for wrestling, her skills and dedication are not in doubt! She is iconic, like her or not and we hope to see her competing more and more years. But at this point, she looked so distant and far away from every storyline and competition as ever. The Devoted WWE women's division fans remember her reign ad Divas Champion and her epic confrontations with the likes of Beth Phoenix, Kharma, Paige and Melina. Foxy build amazing career. But when the opportunities start to get lower with every show, maybe it's time to reconsider your future.Maybe it's time to do what many others do after almost or over a decade experience - to get some time out. Our opinion is that the retirement (for a while) for her is better than the release.
Since Alicia is a really great athlete and loyal WWE employee, the door will never be closed for her.
FROM SMACK DOWN LIVE!:
Our top pick from the Blue brand is actually out! Yes, we saw it coming after this long hiatus, and now Eva Marie parted ways with WWE.
We have thought about this hard topic before. As wannabe-bookers, we know that sometimes there is a need and even it's necessary someone to be released. At this point, we have no categorical SmackDown! 3 picks, because the Tuesday's eve show creatives, prove to be very inventive and to keep everyone busy.
In the beginning, we have a lot of thoughts about Tamina. We were divided into her presence. She is an amazing dominant character, second-generation Superstar, and amazing heel. But she has a lot of injuries, especially in the knees. She had some noticeable hiatus. The fans were more excited to have Charlotte Flair in SDL, than her, after the shakeup! Now, thanks to Lana, Tamina is back in the spotlight and she still has the chance for some good battles, but she is so far away from the title, at this point. Far, far away than ever.
Tamina is kind of the middle. She is useful for the creative, but the division will not be in a jeopardy, without her, without any intention for underrating.
We think that the only option for her to win the title and to be pushed like a champion is in the way they did with Jillian Hall, Ivory, Nikki Bella, and Mickie James in the past - short reign, with some factor causing the end of the reign.
In the end, WWE releases and retirings are not the ends, they are the beginning and they are the needed force of renewal of the company. Of course the veterans are needed to secure the link and passing the torch to the next generation. But in the end, there is a fact - that sometimes you need to rebuild something, by exchanging old components and replace it with new ones. Because the business machine of WWE is like any other. For good or worst!
