A LATE CLASH OF CHAMPIONS OVERVIEW: CHAOS AND TEARS IN THE SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH

Sorry but not Sorry!

I had a time to watch the PPV yesterday (finally my WWE Network got used, after months of lethargy)! I love the match and I know that some of the critics, might be concentrated on the fact that most of the action happened outside the ring... C'mon guys! It was Lumberjcks match (not Lumberjill, jut noticed that...e.g. Equality)! Of course the Lumberjacks will have a vital role in it!

I want to congratulate SDL's brand creatives, who always find a way to book their whole active roster in PPV's. That is kind of predictable, but for me (I am huge supporter of the idea that everyone on the roster, must work) it's... lovely! Hey that was the Riott Squad PPV debut, too! Love ya girls (especially you Sarah).

As much as I love seeing Natalya and Charlotte Flair Working together, the spotlight was stolen by the Lumberjacks. From Naomi's springboard crossbody, through constant beat down of Flair by the 'jacks and finally the amazing Moonsault by the champion. We even had Carmella, trying to cash in before Ruby Riott stormed the ring and the chaotic melee erupt during the match.

At the end, after unsuccessful Sharpshooter, erlier, the challenger for the Team Blue's women's belt, Natalya was forced to tap out, to the Queen's Figure Eight!

Charlotte emerged victorious after taking a lot of punches and kicks, by the Lumberjacks. She retained her title, and what lies beneath for her is Tamina, Carmella and the Riott Squad's Ruby Riott, who are undoubtedly the future challengers.

But the post match breakdown of Natalya, was really intriguing too, though. What was the meaning of that "I'm turning my back on you!" speech? And all that tears... It's taste like retirement! Or it was just a prelude to another long time-out period for Nattie. Actually we don't want to see her gone. She is one of the serious technician wrestlers in WWE and an experienced veteran. We really hope that she will take some time out, before Royal Rumble!

For now, we had the title successfully retained and a door for new #1 Contenders open wide!
