AMAZING WEEKEND pt.2: ROYAL RUMBLE'S ECHO

On January 28, 2018, the whole WWE Universe was shaken off by another huge historical event. Another milestone was added to WWE Women's divisions' evolution - the First-Ever Women's Royal Rumble Match!!!

Lita took 'two on the price of one', with her trademark Litasault.

With Stephanie McMahon on the commentary and both Raw and SmackDown Women's Champions on the front row, we saw a really epic, new chapter to the women's wrestling History Book and I know that WWE creatives, authorities, Superstars are proud as we are!
Mae Young Classic Winner Kairi Sane made a statement by punishing Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch, with her Diving Elbow!

I started to watch women's wrestling in the year 2000 when the Attitude Era begins to fade away. Then-Divas' mix of Trish Stratus, Lita, Ivory, Molly Holly, Jacqueline, Jazz, Stacy Keibler, and Torrie Wilson, kept the women's wrestling spark alive and with a lot of hard work and sacrifices, build the road, the bridges to today's mega-women-Superstars, who have the ability to main event PPV's like the iconic Royal Rumble!
Vickie Guerrero tried to scream/excuse her way through the match!

I was more than happy to see Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Jacqueline, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, Vickie Guerrero entering the Rumble. It was a priceless moment of display of well-deserved respect, for all of their devotion through the years. I hope that in 2019 we will see other icons from different periods of WWE History, like Melina, Eve, Layla, why not Emma, next to some indie icons like Mercedes Martinez, Mia Yim, Piper Niven, Santana Garrett, Ivelisse, etc.
Naomi made the epic escape from elimination.

The match was great with its mix of past, present, and future Superstars! That was the fundamental idea that makes it more than historical - it was magical. It was a tribute to the Golden girls and a huge opportunity for the newest faces of WWE/NXT! More than a battle of the generations!
Michelle McCool made the most eliminations -  5!!!
Even one injured arm didn't stop NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon from putting her amazing athleticism on display and to hit the ring/and Nia Jax, like a storm.

And OMG! That veteran former-Divas, looked amazing and in shape!!!
The WWE Hall of Famer, the Glamazon Beth Phoenix proves that she still got a lot of strength in her, clashing with Nia Jax.

Bayley made a literally stunning entrance hitting the Bellas!

I can't describe all of the epic moments: Molly Holly and her Molly-Go-Round on the Boss (which she botched); Lita's moonsault on Banks and Lynch; Michelle McCool's 5 eliminations; Ember Moon's one-armed Eclipse on Asuka; The Double Stratusfaction on The Bella Twins; The moment when Mickie and Trish, stood against each other, reviving the good old memories; Sasha Banks surviving from the beginning, almost to the end of the Rumble(54:46)... more! Every time when new entrant made her way down the ramp it was stunning!
Bayley tried to mess with 7-times WWE Women's Champion and Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, to find her self on the receiving end of Stratusphere!

The Boss met the Stratusfaction - The time-space continuum collapsed!

The Women's Royal Rumble ended dramatically, when Nikki Bella's ego takeover and she eliminate her sister, just to face the redemption in the face of the ruthless Empress of Tomorrow. At the end Asuka's tomorrow, looked brighter than ever heading to WrestleMania...almost bright, when Ronda Rosey showed up to make a statement!
Now you gotta choose, wisely, Asuka...or

The Women's Royal Rumble established and open new positions and horizons for the WWE women. Immediately after it, on Raw was announced the first-ever (kind of expected) Women's Elimination Chamber match, where Alexa Bliss will have to defend her title against 5-other Superstars! We hope that we'll see Money in the Bank match, another Hell in a Cell, and two long-awaited events: Women's Tag team Titles and all-women WWE Network weekly program for WWE and indie Superstars, or another edition of Mae Young Classic! As we said the Echo of the Royal Rumble will sound through 2018, as the peak of the Women's Wrestling Evolution, securing the way, opening the possibilities for more Women's wrestling legacy!
...or wait for this one to make her move!
