This week NXT TV episode presented one woman who is divided between her husbands rivalry with former tag partner and her own career in WWE NXT! She was facing one of the future prospects of the yellow and black's women's locker-room in really intensive match.
CANDICE LeRAE VS. LACEY EVANS
The husband's drama left behind for a while
Leaving her husband's drama behind for a battle, Candice LeRae was determined to get back on track, after her loss against the EST of NXT, Bianca Belair. LeRae is renowned athlete who was facing men and women around the globe and had earned the respect of the fans and her fellows. Since her debut win over Zelina Vega, that gave her some retribution, Candice had to compete rarely (we are not including live events). Actually this is her third televised match. And it was really promising.
Lacey Evans on the other hand is someone who left the good ladies manners, typical for her gimmick, at the ring post! When she enters that ring, she becomes really tough challenge. Ask Kairi Sain about it! So she didn't step back to the more experienced iconic indie veteran LeRae. Evans was on the top of her game in this match as always.
The match was intensive and had it's twists and turns. The display of Candice's spirit and skills via fighting with one injured hand was nice worked. The end of the match was satisfying. I, personally, am happy for Candice win! She needed that! But even if Lacey Evans was winning that match, I wouldn't be sorry, because it could be the start of another micro-rivalry for her. Actually Evans is working well with every woman, she faced since her debut and I get use to her gimmick - Tha Lady Of NXT.
I hope to see more from this ladies and to see them in a title matches sooner, than later. It's so nice that the creaties decided to pull out Candice LeRae from Johnny Gargano's dramas and put her in the role that suits her even more - Othe role of a great competitor. As for Evans - she still has a lot to show!
