Three matches, many interesting names involved!
JULIA HART defeated KELSEY HEATHER
Interesting, little AEW women's match!
That Kelsey Heather was really overconfident, loud, and fun to watch, but Julia Hart proves that she can end the 3 minutes battle in a way that makes it intensive like 30 minutes one. Standing moonsault on the back of the Heather, handspring in the corner, and her figure four neck lock submission to end it.
Despite all of that there was a little timing issue. You can actually see one of the opponents standing and waiting to receive a move. Also, it was really raw and cute to hear Julia asking Kelsey (or vice versa) if she is ready. Calling the moves you know!
Nice show for the start of AEW Dark.

MERCEDES MARTINEZ defeated QUEEN AMINATA
The excellence of Mercedes Martines shines bright on AEW Dark and illuminates the darkness of the three minutes booking "curse"!
Little and funny! It's pure joy to watch Mercedes Martinez, fresh-out winner of a battle against Thunder Rosa last Friday, taking time to elevate a bit of a pure newbie in AEW - Queen Aminata. I can praise Queen for taking a really good stand against the legendary veteran Martinez. They had some really funny "sells" during the match which ended with a glorious Fisherman Buster by Martinez.
Sadly, we were informed that Mercedes is one of Britt Baker's "thugs", which might mean that we won't see a title match soon. Also, Martinez debuted helping Jade Cargill against Thunder Rosa but we haven't seen any sign of real alliance in there so we can hope that there is a TBS title shot somewhere in the future of the amazing Martinez.

ANNA JAY defeated KACI LENNOX
Short match, dominated by Anna Jay of course, and a solid victory with a submission maneuver - The Queen Slayer, with the Boss - the kid Negative 1 in her corner. All I can remember of this "battle" are the kicks of Jay, nothing else. Just a simple "put some women on display", which is not bad.
Thanks for coming!

It looks like AEW is passing through the WWE phase when the women's matches were around 3+ minutes, and nothing that memorable had happened. The difference is the quantity of the matches, a bit of the quality, and the new names introduced.
