FORMER WWE SENSATION RETURNS TO HER ROOTS IN THE INDIES

All we know to this moment is that the former WWE NXT Women's and Women's Tag Team Champion who was released out of nowhere in the brutal mass release last year will use her old name "Athena", she is booked on her first out of WWE match on February 12, in a match for the Warrior Wrestling Women's title, at Warrior Wrestling 19!
Her lucky star on the way home to the indies and "the welcoming" committee will be no one else but the busiest legacy maker - Thunder Rosa!  This sounds really good and interesting.

Now as her 90-days non-competing clause is over, we can expect the revived Fallen Goddess to make impression on the independent circuit and who knows - she can land in Impact Wrestling or even better - AEW (I know, I know! Cody said that he won't want to fill his roster with former WWE employees, but that is impossible since WWE is taking so many indies, holding and branding them for a while and then releasing them)

Athena known as Ember Moon shined bright on WWE NXT having amazing matches against Asuka and Shayna Baszler. She went to the main roster and then back to NXT, after the things didn't work appropriately (bad booking against - "What will we do with such immense talent on SmackDown and Raw?! Oh, oh, oh!". Lazy!!! So, lazy creatives!!!).

As I mentioned - I guess all of us pray to see her under contract and get the attention and the booking she deserves with one of the other two USA Big Guys promotions!

P.S. Just imagine Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, Mickie James, Britt Baker, Md., Nyla Rose, Ruby Soho, Mercedes Martinez, and of course the hot trend - Thunder Rosa, all of them falling victims to the Eclipse!!! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
