RAW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE: THE BEST OF THE BEST
Three NXT Alumni in a high staked match. High staked not only because the belt was on the line. It was a lot on stake, because of the participants, the expectations and the pressure.
Charlotte was set to retained her title. WWE RAW doesn't want to lose their top heel in the women's locker room, that easy. Charlotte brings a lot of emotions and reactions from the fans, like it or not. She is talented and is a total face of the real villain, who didn't respect anyone and is concentrated on her goal - to be on the top. Like it or not Charlotte put a lot of good offense in her matches, and they are always full with twists and turns. With or without Dana Brooke (I will talk for that later). I don't like the evil Charlotte, but I have admiration for the wrestler Ashley Flair and the writing team who create the character, with her.
I don't have a words to describe Sasha and Bayley's work. All of the three women put a lot in that match, risked a lot and were more than amazing. They are there - in the Eye of the cyclone, called Women's Wrestling Revolution, that started in 2000 with signing of Trish and Lita, continued with appearance of names like Molly Holly, Ivory, Jacqueline, Jazz, Mickie James, Melina, Lay-Cool, Gail Kim, Eve Torres, Beth Phoenix, AJ Lee and more. Now this three women, their fellow former NXT Superstars, nailed it.
Bayley, Charlotte and Sasha Banks prove that the hard work and the desire for wrestling can take you far! These three women are with reservation for the Hall of Fame. To see Bayley earns that warm welcoming, without being main roster champion is priceless. To watch Sasaha Banks fighting hard and risking her body in every match is admirable and brings a lot of respect. To see Charlotte evolve and executing more and more new moves is great. To watch all of these SDL NXT girls winning a matches and pushes is amazing. All of this is great and something all of us have been waiting all these years.
The match was better than the Six-Pack Challenge. The challenge was great, but that match was better.
Now we are entering another month of same angles and matches - a vacuum. I desperately hope to see some old-new faces and Sasha vs. Charlotte rematch!
