The whole WrestleMania is one big controversy thanks to the COVID-19's worldwide pandemic. Its bravery close to stupidity for wrestling promotions are still booking shows in the "Show Must Go On", but heroism had always been close to madness and I TOTALLY respect that, aside from the fact that you can see that dynamic is not the same - it's different without a crowd, the action is cut short and whole episodes are dedicated to someone's dialogues (NXT, Gargano and Ciampa). So, there is no way The Show of the Shows to be affected. And the rumors are flying - different locations, cit-out cards, etc.
We have three women's matches announced (and some of us are still hoping to see the Women's Tag team Title on the line). From all three booked matches it looks like the Blue Brand's belt is surrounded by more controversy and drama.
Let's start with the good news: Guys, we finally have our Sasha vs. Bayley clash. The Boss might want everyone to think that she loves Bayley, but her little mean smile said it all, last week on SD on FOX! That would be epic I hope. Secretly I want banks to win the belt and to bring an existential crisis to Bayley. Can't wait for that.
The neutral part: Tamina inclusion was sort of 'Wait, how?'. These days WWE is not so dedicated to building the path of how someone is entering a specific match. It's not the first time. Look how Ruby Riott who missed almost a year was set straight into the Elimination Chamber. Also, Dana Brooke had several 'booked out of nothing' occasions. Guys, this is not bad. For me it's fresh and I am always for giving opportunities to those who are often underrated like Sarah Logan, Brooke, Natalya, Tamina. It's really nice to see Snuka back and in a WrestleMania moment, because she deserves it, maybe not this way, but she deserves it. Tamina is veteran with one memorable rivalry (maybe I am the one who remembers it ) - against Beth Phoenix and one memorable Wrestlemania moment side by side with Nia Jax, for the Tag Team Gold. So, have nothing against her participation, no matter how it was done.
The bad news:
Evidence...
Exhibit 1 - What is wrong with this picture?
Exhibit 2: Hmm...
I think that most of us can count to ten... In the case to six... Well, we have six women on the picture, but what is that? Look at the names? Is that a mistake done twice or... something is going on and Dana Brooke might be dropped out of the Six-Pack Challenge?
The rumors have it that she is removed from the title match. This doesn't happen for the first time. She was pulled out, for yet unknown reasons. She had argued in the past that she was removed from matches. So, this is not new, but I guess it's hurtful.
So the match now is Five-Pack Challenge and that pulls out is actually well compensated by The Boss appearance which is one of the biggest threats for Bayle's reign next to Naomi's participation. We are looking forward to seeing what is going on with Brooke, and we are anxious for her removal, but at this point, this match has a lot more intrigue in it.
