Two women's slots one of which was a promised match. This week's SmackDown really moved forward throwing everything they got. We had a Women's title match's 5 participants presented, we had an interesting potential build-up for the women's tag team gold.
Let's dive into action because it's better than words...as someone said last night.
BAYLEY DIDN'T GET AN ANSWER AND TAMINA MADE A STATEMENT
It started with WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley `with shorter haircut) and Sasha Banks entering the ring to throw insults over Paige. At the end of their tirade, Bayley turned to The Boss and asked her if she is her 'best friend'. Banks' face told a lot but just when she was about to answer, Lacey Evans interrupt. Firey insults followed, exchanged between Evans and The Champ and Banks, then Naomi interrupted to involve herself in the war of words.
Then Tamina appeared and as the wild card, she was announced to be, really stopped the conversation with 'Actions speak louder than words' followed by headbutt on Naomi and superkick on Evans. Bayley and Banks attacked cornered Glow of WWE and kicked her for a while before realizing that the angry Tamina is behind them and both 'besties' flee the ring in not well-hidden terror.
Overview:
As Bayley said it was the night when everyone interrupts everyone to say something usual. Not bad to see all of these ladies available for WrestleMania 36 and it was classic. I enjoyed the part when Bayley asked Sasha and how Banks' face changed, and Tamina's attack as well.
Tamina was somehow strangely implanted in this match so she really needed to make that statement. You, know, we haven't seen her for months and now she received a shot, so you need to work some working girl. And she did it in a suitable for her character manner.
ALEXA BLISS defeated ASUKA
We lived to see Alexa Bliss nailing Asuka with DDT!
Not that Bliss is not a world-class athlete, but it's kind of sad when we remember how invincible The Empress was.
The match was entertaining with Nikki Cross on the commentary's table or at the table. Some mocking. Some good spots. One Asuka Lock's blocked and one DDT that lead Bliss to the success.
Asuka is not the same!
Overview:
It looks like a build-up! It is a build-up. Maybe not for WrestleMania 36, which would be sad (but nothing is over it could be on The grandest Stage of them All), but this victory would definitely lead to a championship match in the nearest future if Kairi Sane is available (you know she's married and no one has seen her for several weeks).
Overall, Asuka's career looks like stuck into nowhere. From one of the most dominant women in WWE to jobber for the rest of the roster. If Kabuki Warriors didn't get any singles or tag team push and even worst - if they lose the titles right now, we might see the last of them...
