Athena came to AEW and became a heel!
Toni Storm became heel!
Saraya became heel!
Ruby Soho is a heel!
I think all of the former WWE female talents are heels now. Interesting coincidence. For your information, I don´t believe that there is a bias against former WWE employees currently signed with All Elite. That is nonsense! I just think that somehow they are needed as villains and they are booked as ones, according to the fact that they had some reputation as baddies before.
So, with that cleared out, I want us to concentrate on the OUTCASTS, because they are doing a really great job and with ease turned two of the most vicious AEW iconic bad girls - Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter into heroines and even joined them with Hikaru Shida (as you can see).
I know that Toni Storm was someone who looked promising in WWE. She was quickly booked to work with Charlotte Flair and if she had done what was expected of her and waited for the current leadership to take over, she was about to be a champion, sooner than later. But things didn't go that well and she was a champion in AEW. Good for her.
Ruby Soho was really neglected as a single competitor and was forced to spend a lot of time as a leader of the Riott Squad. Now in AEW, she is thriving through competition and is allowed to express herself better. To show what she got.
Saraya!
Saraya is the glue that unites Storm and Soho. Saraya is the biggest name of them all. Toni Storm might be a household name, but Saraya is epic. So, she is for AEW, what Trinity Fatu is for IMPACT - huge win!
The idea of aligning these three into a stable is really interesting and surprisingly despite being strong individuals, they manage to work together well. That is something that WWE wouldn't tolerate for long. You know that such alliances don't last long in there.
But AEW is totally different when it comes to women's alliances, which is fresh and nice. For example, Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter are allies for so long and it works really well. So, maybe we will also see a long run of the Outcast. Until one of them becomes a champion again. I am waiting for the cracks, and I need that AEW fans will enjoy watching Saraya, Ruby Soho, and Tonis Storm tearing each other apart. I think that this is the plan - to have a huge implosion in the Outcasts and then to have these three huge talents blowing off the roof in an amazing rivalry and matches.
