"I AM BAAACK!" BUT FOR HOW LONG...
She ain’t a kid anymore.
She’s a well-accomplished WWE Superstar. A Royal Rumble win is a huge thing.
She’s a BIG, HUGE star — and she deserves it.
I can honestly say that the lack of followers for this blog has always been an issue. The lack of civilised discussion — or any discussion — any feedback, any ideas… It’s highly demotivating, most of the time.
In the end, if I wanted a journal, I’d keep it on my PC in a My Docs folder. I wanted to join — and even establish — an AWOW community. And I still want that.
The loneliness of being a writer/editor is real. I tried to find people who would love to collaborate. I had George helping with a few posts, but sadly, he has other creative plans and his own life, with all the good and the bad that comes with it.
Being part of AWOW for nothing but the thrill of writing about women’s wrestling is not enough…
BUT IT’S A START.
If we begin as a group of freelancing volunteers refining our skills together, and if we see that we can accomplish more by sharing our passion, then we can ask for money. We can search for sponsors, etc.
I haven’t given up on this. This is one of the points of the New Rebirth Plan for 2026.
I’ll outline what I want to accomplish, without commenting on which ideas are possible and which might be delusional:

I want to be in a team, not a one-person project.
I’m tired of that. I want to work with creative people who love women’s wrestling. -
I still dream of us having a magazine.
I haven’t given up on having Ivelisse Vélez on the cover of the first issue, despite many things changing in my views about her. -
The Encyclopedia
I want an online/site version and a book or e-book: The Amazing Women of Wrestling Encyclopedia. -
An active community
Not least. I really crave a vivid, vibrant community. -
And more.
Overall, I don’t want to be the best — but one of the best.
For now, I’ll probably write sporadically about meaningful events, analyzing news, storylines, and characters as usual. I may return to PPV predictions when possible. I’ll try to create more Top 10 (or Top Whatever) lists — I already have an idea for the next one.

You deserve it!!!🇪🇸 SpanishAquí vamos otra vez… No hace falta explicar que nunca dejé de ver lucha libre femenina. También vi algunas series limitadas sobre estrellas femeninas reales y ficticias (no solo GLOW). Con Netflix + WWE puedo ver RAW, NXT y SmackDown cuando quiero, en el momento que quiero. Además, este año vi el Royal Rumble en vivo y… ¡ESTOY TAN FELIZ POR MI CHICA — LIV MORGAN! Ya no es una niña. Es una Superestrella de WWE bien consolidada. Ganar un Royal Rumble es algo enorme. Es una estrella GRANDE, ENORME, y se lo merece. No voy a hacerles perder el tiempo explicando las razones personales por las que no estuve aquí, sin hacer una de mis cosas geeks favoritas: escribir y analizar, admirar y abrazar el lado creativo del wrestling y su escena femenina. Intento respetar mis propias reglas sobre los espacios web que creo: hablar de cosas relacionadas con ese tema. Como las “razones personales” en este caso no están relacionadas con el wrestling, se las ahorro. 1. ¿DÓNDE ESTÁN LOS LECTORES/SEGUIDORES?Puedo decir honestamente que la falta de seguidores del blog siempre ha sido un problema. La falta de discusión civilizada —o de cualquier discusión—, de feedback, de ideas… es altamente desmotivadora, la mayoría del tiempo. Al final, si quisiera tener un diario, lo guardaría en mi PC, en una carpeta de Mis Documentos. Yo quería unirme y hasta crear una comunidad AWOW. Y todavía lo quiero. 2. SOLEDADLa soledad de ser escritora/editora es real. Intenté encontrar gente que quisiera colaborar. Tuve a George durante algunos posts, pero tristemente él tiene otros planes creativos y su propia vida, con todo lo bueno y lo malo que eso implica. Ser parte de AWOW solo por la emoción de escribir sobre lucha libre femenina no es suficiente… PERO ES UN COMIENZO. Si empezamos como un grupo de voluntarios freelance, afinando nuestras habilidades juntos, y vemos que podemos lograr más compartiendo nuestra pasión, entonces podremos pedir dinero. Buscar patrocinadores, etc.
No he renunciado a esta idea. Este es uno de los puntos del Nuevo Plan de Renacimiento para 2026. 3. FINANZASNecesitaba dinero para suscripciones, herramientas, etc. Todavía lo necesito —y más. No quiero medir mi amor por la lucha libre femenina en dólares, pero la creatividad y la pasión de una fan y conocedora no siempre son suficientes. LOS GRANDES PLANESVoy a enumerar lo que quiero lograr, sin comentar qué es posible y qué puede ser una locura:
En general, no quiero ser la mejor, sino una de las mejores. Mientras tanto, probablemente escribiré de forma esporádica sobre eventos importantes, analizando noticias, historias y personajes, como siempre. Tal vez vuelva a las predicciones de PPV cuando sea posible. Intentaré crear más Top 10 (o Top lo que sea); incluso ya tengo una idea para la próxima edición. Así que… nos vemos por aquí. |
