Every single following episode is more and more dramatic! Men, this episode was sort of 'I want to scream!'...It was a really good ending of the Round 2 and preparation for round 3 or The QUARTERFINALS! And the Quarterfinals will be hot as hell!
Let's revive the (hurtful) memory about it!
EPISODE 06. ROUND 2.
MATCH #01
LACEY EVANS VS. TONI STORM
No matter how patriotic and lady-like you are, this tournament is about (chant)"WOMEN'S WRESTLING! WOMEN'S WRESTLING!"! So it was nice to see the public supporting the well established and talented name in this match - Toni Storm!
Lacey Evans had her moment, when she beat the fellow WWE PC Taynara Conti, but Toni Storm is something else. Not that Evans didn't have experience! NOOO! She has worked about indie promotion in her past and even had been a champion in there. But Toni Storm traveled the world and really had what it takes to win this match.
So at the end of the evening, Toni Storm hit her devastating Strong Zero (really impressive move) on her opponent to emerge victorious and to face Piper Niven in the next round!
As for Lacey Evans, we hope to see more from her, Bianca Belair, Sarah Logan and Vanessa Borne in NXT!
WINNER: TONI STORM (AUSTRALIA), via pinfall
EPISODE 06. ROUND 2.
MATCH #02
MIA YIM VS. SHAYNA BASZLER
I am sorry but I am not happy with the end of this match!
I know that Baszler is ruthless, especially when she lock her Baszler Lock or whatever this Asuka lock is named! I know that many people love her brutality and bully attitude! But I am not buying it! I don't like bullies and maybe that is why I am not pleased with Baszler and her clique of so called Four Horsewomen! The Four Horsemen and The Four Horsewomen are originally from the wrestling and WWE (when we talk about entertainment, not Biblical meaning)!
Mia Yim survived as long as she was able against Baszler, having the audience support (and that of Bayley, Charlotte and Becky Lynch). She escaped several painful submissions and hit several amazing moves, like this sitout powerbomb! But it wasn't meant to be!
My favorite Yim, fall in a trap when she performed her splash, and was locked in a ruthless submission that forced the rookie Zeda to tap out in the first round! So Baszler had the last word and she and her fellows celebrated even arguing with The NXT/WWE Horsewomen!
Really sad match and great at the same time!
NOW REAL TALK: WWE sign Mia Yim! She deserve to perform on a bigger stage and you can do this to her as a compensation for this ruthless match!
WINNER: SHAYNA BASZLER (US), via submission
EPISODE 06. ROUND 2
MATCH #03
DAKOTA KAI VS. RHEA RIPLEY
These two young ladies really rocked the house!
They started the match with warm welcoming and sportsmanship and ended it in this manner! It was a really great experience to watch the youngest competitor Rhea and the slim "cricket" like sweet looking, but dangerous Dakota. Australia vs. New Zealand! The fans were really divided by this one.
This match can't be described! It must to be watched, because it was really tough challenge for both young women.
Rhea used her strength and mass to keep her quick opponent down as long as it was possible, at the end we had a real innovative Double Foot Stomp by Kai, to end it! Of course these girls showed the likes of Martinez and Baszler what the real sportsmanship is all about, by exchanging friendly hugs when the match was over!
I can't wait to see how Dakota will deal with Kairi Sane, and what the future holds for Rhea in WWE NXT! Whatever is going to to happen these two youngsters are on their way to write new chapter in WWE!
WINNER: DAKOTA KAI (NEW ZEALAND), via pinfall
EPISODE 06. ROUND 3.
MATCH #04
CANDICE LeRAE VS. NICOLE SAVOY
Savoy started the match by kicking the extended for a handshake hand of LeRae! That helped LeRae to become even more favorite, that she was!
It was a really competitive match, that allowed both women to put their skill-set on display. We had Nicole Savoy standing solid as a powerhouse and we had Candice LeRae, flying around. I enjoyed their submission reversal, they made at some point, but the end was really gold, when LeRae hit her Wild End.
Really exciting match that ended the Round 2. In the Quarterfinals LeRae will need all of her straight to face the Beast Shayna Baszler!
WINNER: CANDICE LeRAE (US), via pinfall
OVERVIEW:
Really good conclusive episode of the Round 2. For me it was sad that we lost Mia Yim and Rhea Ripley, but there was no other way. The winners of these episode will face their next challenge(rs) in episode 07! We can't wait to see how the things happened so we will watch close!
It's going to be awesome!
TOP 5 PICKS:
It's become harder and harder with every week.
#05. RHEA RIPLEY
I love Dakota Kai's work, but I think that in this match, more dominant and getting advantage in that match was Rhea Ripley, so we are honoring her one of our picks!
We can't wait to see this young woman in NXT and eventually winning the top prize in there, because she and Dakota Kai are capable of that. So the future looks bright for this contestant for sure. Respect!
#04. TONI STORM
Amazing and talented!
From her hips attacks to her amazing finisher Toni Storm, confirmed that she really belongs in here for the second time. Not that she need to confirm it! The respect from the audience were speaking well enough!
#03. SHAYNA BASZLER
The ruthless Baszler, can't be ignored!
She is aggressive and kind of disrespectful and maybe this is helping her somehow (it's for a while), but she demonstrated a lot of tactic in her match against Mia Yim, that night, so she is a dangerous threat and good addition to WWE.
#02. MIA YIM
This is our farewell to Mia Yim from MYC, with a deep bow down in respect for her! I was tempted to put her first, but decided that it will be a robbery of the #01 who fought great as well!
It will be a real BIG mistake if WWE miss to sign this amazing and experience talent and our thoughts and prays are concentrated on this topic. We wish to see Mia Yim ruling NXT and even WWE's women's divisions at some point!
#WWESignMiaYimPlease !
#01. CANDICE LeRAE
Mrs. Wrestling really showed us what the wrestling is!
She was magnificent as always and as much as I want to put her to share the spot with Mia Yim, I decided to honor LeRae, because her path wasn't easy and now when she is here, she prove that she had always belonged in here! She is really talented and charismatic and she didn't step back for anyone or anything! Go, MRS.WRESTING, Go!
