With 5 women called to the Main roster (more than the called for the Revolution storyline), NXT looks like almost empty women's locker room!
We have officially:
Aliyah
Bianca Belair
Billie Kay
Ember Moon
Kairi Sane
Lacey Evans
Nikki Cross
Peyton Royce
(eventually Zelina Vega)
Bianca Belair |
Lacey Evans |
The vetarns like Aliyah, The Iconic Duo, Ember Moon might be kind of ... a little bit of jealous about Ruby Riot, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and Sarah Logan's promotion. But at this point the coast for them is clear to concentrate on their battle for the NXT Women's Championship.
The Iconic Duo of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce |
Kairi Sane and Zelina Vega are women with tones of good reputation in the pro wrestling business. From professionalism in the ring, to stunning characters, embodiment of the bravery in a different variations. We are put our hopes on these two, kind of fresh talents, next to Moon, Cross and The Iconic Duo, to keep NXT on the great level they are.
We hope to see some other names debuting in NXT - we have, let's say it: 5 spots and we have more MYC and PC competitors.
Vanessa is sort of a veteran in the Performance Center and it will be nice to see her as constant addition to NXT TV roster. The Rikishi's student, showed good technique, in her match against Serena Deeb at MYC and she can be a stable heel, for a while.
I am impressed with the Brazilian Superstar quick integration in the NXT's landscape and WWE NXT should not stop Conti's momentum! They can mixed her up with Lacey Evans or Ember Moon, or revive her battle with Nikki Cross.
Johnny Gargano needs some real support in NXT. If he challenge Andrade 'Cien' Almas for the gold, he will need a woman to help him against Zelina Vega and who is better female ally than your wife. And what is even better than the fact that your wife is one of the recognized world wide indie wrestlers. So Candice LeRae will be a good fill up of one spot as well.
The fans love the German colorful Superstars since her first match in MYC against Abbey Laith. Now when our inked and rioting, anarchist Ruby Riot is targeting the top of SmackDown Live, with some NXT friends, Gabert will be a good, even more than suitable replacement.
Piper Niven is our another all-time favorite!
This Scottish talent is really charismatic and knows the ropes. Piper will be a good face at the beginning, evolving into a vicious heel. I can close my eyes and see her working in NXT and even winning some gold.
I don't know why WWE is almost missing to hire Mia Yim -SHE IS AMAZING!!! They didn't have Canadian with Korean descend since Gail Kim! They know that the formula works! And maybe this time it will work for WWE and NXT, not for other promotion, thanks to the lack of good booking.
I am totally willing to see this New Zealand Kicker soon in the TV roster and beating someone. Kai was one of the luckiest girls next to Tessa Blanchard, Bianca Belair and Toni Storm, who had the chance to work with Kairi Sane and that means, that Kai was forced over-jumped herself. That youngster has a lot of potential and I am happy that WWE noticed that! It eventually kicked them in the head.
Of course we will love to see Shayna Baszler, Zeda, Abbey Laith, Sage Beckett, Toni Storm and Rhea Ripley on that roster too in the near future. We still hope to see Deonna Purrazzo, Tessa Blanchard and Rachel Evers signed at some point, as the last two, can be added to something like Evolution angle - with other second and third generation female-Superstars. Santana Garrett and Mercedes Martinezare still not out of the picture I hope.
But for now, waiting for the next name to be added to the roster, we can look forward and see who will challenge first, our new NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon! I know that there are a lot of
