While the Absolution brings chaos and total destruction in Raw, without facing their rivals face to face in the ring, in team Blue everything is about competition and matches, every issue is put to be set in the ring (as it must be).
RUBY RIOTT, SARAH LOGAN & LIV MORGAN VS. SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S CHAMPION CHARLOTTE FLAIR, NAOMI & NATALYA
Yeah! With double 't' in 'Riot', Ruby and her Squad showed what they are here for - to dominate! And they show this in a very ruthless manner.
Of course the Queen of Harts Natalya helped, when she left the match, screaming that she don't need any of this and don't want to have anything with anyone involved! I hope that next time the Riott Squad will squash her.
I love the name of the group. It passed through my mind in Monday (if they mentioned it on Twitter, i didn't see it because I didn't follow it this days). The Riott Squad! They really played nasty after double-teaming Naomi, forcing her to leave the ring in stretcher. Actually Naomi and Charlotte put a really tough fight against the former-NXT vicious trio.
I am happy that they got the victory, because it sealed the beginning of a new era.
TAG TEAM RUMORS:
Meanwhile, I heard rumors that WWE is planning to revive their Women's Tag Team Championship. Well, that's not a bad idea, but let's see how many sable teams do we have in both Raw and SmackDown - The Absolution and the Riott Squad, respectively.
We can see Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mickie James working together, Alexa Bliss with Nia Jax, Alicia and Dana for Raw! In SmackDown Live we can see Naomi, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair as a stable, Carmella and Natalya as unholy alliance, Lana and Tamina... And of course we still have the possibility that the Bella Twins might return. Plus - the Iconic Duo can be called to the main roster and we had a pretty colorful mix of possible tag teams and it almost look great...
But I enjoy one of the fans ideas on YouTube: WWE have to create a whole women show! To sign some new talents and to create even more relevant tag team division. Because unholy alliances and 'today-we-are-friends-tomorrow-who-knows' formula is not a good idea for a tag team division of women.
Actually, the idea is really nice. Impact try it in their KO's division rising days and succeed to have several tag team champions. Every respected all-women promotion has a tag team title! It demand a really strong tag management and good pairing. It's actually kind of risky, but maybe WWE can afford it in the spirit of women's wrestling evolution worldwide.
We'll wait and we'll see!
