When you brows their roster you can assure yourself that you are not dreaming and this is ... well sort of real. I love their web-site and I hope to see it upgraded soon, because Taylor Made is not their champion for a month(or two) and they need to add several talents and to update the pictures of others.

She was replaced by Amy Dumas better known as Lita, after the writing stuff didn't find creative ideas for her character. Hosaka is part of Shine's roster, too and its former Tag Team Champion with Brandi Wine. |
AWOW will make a special edition in our series about rosters and picks. Actually SHINE is promotion, where is hard to pick only 3 or 4 competitors as the best for watch. There are so many talents starting with legends like Malia Hosaka and ending with young talents like Marti Belle.

Of course this days SHINE booked Ivelisse Velez to win their title for a second time, something never done in the company's past. Now Velez is reigning champion with a lot of challengers, threatening her - like Allysin Kay, Santana Garrett, Leva Bates, Mia Yim and etc.

You can found many new talents rising like Lucious Latasha, who can be seen participate in almost every edition. April Hunter, Taeler Hendrix, Courtney Rush, Kay Lee Ray, Su Yung and Amber Gallows are just spicing up the roster. Many of the women included in it are working for SHIMMER and WSU, even ROH and TNA. They try to invite many different, famous women to their shows. On the last edition they even invited another Knockout - Raquel /next to Marti Belle, Allysin Kay, to face ROH's Kelly Klein, the sensational Viper debuted for the promotion. You can see and WWE Paige's mother Sweet Saraya Knight competing in there, too. So SHINE is really unique and shining jewel in the women's wrestling scene, equal to its bigger sister SHIMMER and the competitive and productive WSU.

| Mia Yim (aka Jade from TNA) was a tag team partenr of Leva Bates. Later Yim succeeded to win Shine Championship from Ivelisse(ending Ive's first reign) and after her signing with TNA, the relationships between Bates and her, get complicated and evoke a rivalry. |
It's sad that they have only one event monthly and they can't afford to put all of their talents in it. Sometimes you can't see your favorite talents for months (like Taeler Hendrix). But if you are lucky enough your favorite may become a champion (like mine - Ivelisse) and you can see her defending her title in every edition.

SHINE is high class product. With some good sponsorship it can become a major force in USA. I hope that their roster and popularity will grow in the future and we can see many new legends, who started their career from there.
