The end of our overview is near!
I enjoyed the trick at the beginning where Eva Marie's entrance theme hit the ring and it almost looked like she will enter, until her announcer drop the bomb, that she was recovering from stress, caused by the fans!
That was funny!
The match?
Sorry, but next to the WWE RAW's Women's title rematch, this six-women tag team match looked as regular as every tag team match we watch on SDL. Despite the warm welcome of Nikki Bella, that match was regular. We accidentally predicted that Carmella will be the victim of the mysterious partner and she falls for three counts after Nikki's new Fireman's cutter.
When I say "regular" I don't mean "bad"! No, it just means that this match can be placed in every show, and it would be filled with the same emotional spark, as it was at Sunday Night's SummerSlam!
Actually, Nikki didn't act like a typical heel. She had several opportunities to kick Carmella in the back, while she was re-bouncing from the ropes or to nailed the Princess of Staten Island, with punches when she was positioned in her team corner. But she didn't! She did it before. But she didn't do it on SummerSlam!
Is she face or heel? |
Her interview after the match was more like an interview with a face.
Natalya and Alexa Bliss were perfect as always. Bliss back-flip into knees to Carmella's abdomen was great. Natalya eats some beat up from Naomi, Carmella, and Becky.
Becky was on fire! She executed many good kicks and even had a moment of domination over the three opponents Superstars. Naomi showed her athleticism.
The end was determined by Nikki and Carmella, who fought well. Carmela heroically took a lot of beat-down, during the match. In the end, it cost her a moment of distraction to fall victim to Nikki's new maneuver.
Nice match!
Nikki's return means serious regrouping of SDL women's division. It almost looks like the heels are dominant as numbers, but Nikki didn't establish her as a heel yet. Let's see what will happen at Tuesday Night's SmackDown Live, tonight!
