1. AT THE BEGINNING THERE WAS EVE...OOPS! WRONG! WE MEAN EVA MARIE...
Why we started our late, late, late overview with this one?
Because her role this week was so vital (kind of vital) for another long awaited debut.
OK. Two weeks ago I was yelling "What are they doing? Why are they booking that stupid fake-leg injury angle for Eva?"...
They want to make her more evil than ever. They are using WWE Universe's hate, greed, jealousy and so on to make Eva more evil and mean than the Devil. When I watch her "wardrobe malfunction" escape, I said to myself "OK! That was funny!". Actually they can make her look more villainous even if she just won a match by cheating, but this "cowardice angle" is working well.
But can we see Alexa and Eva working together, as villains?
"Be careful what you wish, because you just might get it..."
That is how Alexa Bliss entered the SmackDown Live's ring for her debut - with a phrase that she was able to turn into action. I don't know if Becky Lynch felt any sorrow about her challenge, but at the end of the match she was smashed.
After Eva Marie's mind games consisted by fake leg injuries and wardrobe malfunctions, was almost over, Alexa grabbed the chance to bring some Twisted Bliss in the Blue brand's ring. At the Eva Marie costed a distraction for Lynch. Bliss grab that opportunity, too and won her first WWE match with a bang.
I am happy for Alexa! I respect her! I respect her skills (those flips and splashes are just great), her heel person is even better than her blue-face-nice-person gimmick, from the beginning. I just wish to see more from her, Carmella and Eva. As NXT's Alumna Alexa has a lot to show in the square circle.
3. FABULOUS REVENGE!!!
Me and my colleagues are enjoying last week's SmackDown! Live matches (and RAW women's matches). After previous week's SDL full with "no contest" ending matches, this week we get something pure, simple and satisfy.
After the SDL (Aug. 02) back attack, Carmella was more than ready for another mean strike from the Dark Queen of Harts. She faced the sneaking Natalya with a great series of punches. For a moment it was looking that their match will end in a no contest again, but thanks God it wasn't meant to be.
Natalya dominated for a while and at the end she became a victim of her own confidence. Carmella won her SDL debut forcing her new nemesis to tap out, by using her amazing Headscissors submission.
The SDL gave us a good women's wrestling this week. I am so happy and enthusiastic about both Carmella and Alexa. These girls deserve these victories. Now we have two different rivalries, that can make a crossover any moment. I hope to see Naomi involved soon and then WWE SDL can have three rivalries: Becky-Eva; Natalya-Carmella and Naomi-Alexa.
1. A WHOLE NEW BAYLEY???
This week's contract signing begining of NXT, was regular!
Strong words. A lot of threats how the champion will lose her title. How changed is the challenger...
Is that new for Bayley? Is she showing something new?
Bayley changed her friendly attitude, always when she had to face some big threat! Nia Jax. Sasha Banks. Emma. Asuka. Bayley became serious every time when she had to fight for the title or against vicious enemy.
This time it's Asuka. Asuka is sort of "Queen of the mind games". She did it two weeks ago, when she bring Bayley to the limits of her patience, by torturing Aliyah in front of her.
Bayley announced that she is changed and new. I won't believe it until I see it, because the words and promises that she said, well we heard them before, said to different women. I think that the words are nothing, when she has to face a serous threat (more serious than Nia Jax) in the face of the Empress of Tomorrow!
We just can't wait to see it happen this Saturday!
I enjoy to watch how Liv Morgan executes Handstand headscissors takedown, preceded by (handstand) springboard. When I watch her last matches I just can't wait to see it. It's one of the fancy, not really harming moves, just for show, that I love and associate with Trish Stratus and Alicia Fox.
Well. Good, moves Liv, but these weeks NXT is Bayley, Asuka and Billie Kay's queendom.
Billie Kay is rising slowly and confident. Her second win was impressive like the first one. Short, simple and pure. Nice Big Boot in the Liv's head. If you have a long legs it's better to use them properly in the ring and Billie uses her advantage. The match was nice and I hope to see more from this talented girls in the future. Liv, Aliyah, Peyton and Billie(and Ember Moon) are the future of NXT and they deserve more TV time.
I hate Impact Wrestling's new site!

Then Maria and Allie showed up.
Actually that was the interesting part of all the segment.
Maria tried to force her assistant to attack Gail Kim with Marti's telescoping baton. Allie was shocked and at the edge of the hysteria, because she obviously didn't know ( ;) ) how to use that weapon and wasn't enthusiastic about using it on Kim. She didn't want to come near Gail.

At the end Gail was attacked by Bell and Allie, while Maria ordered them how to kick her nemesis correctly.
Jade run in for the save and "ruined" Maria's party.
Mrs. Kanellis-Bennett has the last word. She announced Gail Kim vs. Jade match, for this week!
Now this is intriguing!
