For the Night is dark and full of promos.
After a long day at work, I went home with the idea to relax for a while and watch what is happening in NXT! Most of the show was based on long promos, as I enjoyed Bayley vs. Asuka's.
1. HEY! HERE COMES BILLIE KAY!
After a 10-20 minutes promo of the amazing rematch for Saturday, we were sent to William Regal's office. Respect for Mr. Regal! He announced what he had to announce, when Billie Kay surprisingly interrupted him asking for her involvement at the TakeOver.
Her biggest answer for what reason she deserves to at the show, was her (losing) appearance on SmackDown and then her victorious streak, from the past weeks.I prefer it in the reversed order - the victories before her one-night only appearance on main show.
William Regal answered her "suggestion", as he booked her against the debuting Ember Moon.
Well, Billie's reaction was strange. I don't get it! Her face freeze in shock, or something. Her smile was showing nothing! It express nothing! It looks like she was totally happy or she didn't get a joke and just have to smile politely - something in between.
Most importantly both Billie and Ember have amazing opportunity. I can't wait to see them wrestle this Saturday!
Nothing wrong with the pre-tape. I enjoy it. It gives the Superstars time to concentrate on practice and life events at the rest part of the month, after a week/day of taping.
I am happy how they dealt with the fact that the match is taped before the Draft. How professionally they fix the announcers comments and match the with WWE's current reality where Alexa and Carmella are SDL Superstars. No talking about the Draft, between the competitors in their backstage segments.
They hyped the newcomers debuts with a stretching and mentoring angles, backstage. Of course Alexa was shown as a dominating and couching woman - she threats her teammates.
The match was regular 3 vs. 3. It was a nice opportunity for Nikki Glencross, Daria Berenato and Mandy Rose.I just wanted to see more from these girls. Especially from Nikki Storm! With a nick like "The Best in Galaxy", people will expect a lot of you! That is frustrating, but I know that she can deal with that. She been training for months in WWE. It's nothing unfamiliar for her. But it wasn't her fault or any of the other girls fault. The timing and schedule was the major factor for that match, it was in the middle of a show, dedicated on the future TakeOver. The focus was set on Saturday and Carmella(last victory), Liv and Nikki's (their first victory) victory is somehow, almost unnoticed.
The future is in front of them and if WWE didn't screw it it will be bright.
