In Tuesday I woke up with the idea to check WWE RAW's results from Monday... and what a pleasant surprise! I saw the article announcing that Beth Phoenix would be included in WWE Hall Of Fame in Class 2017!
Nostalgia!
Beth Phoenix is someone so special for me! She is one of those unique women, looking too dominant for the then-Divas division, but at the same time something was not enough to be part of the Superstars roster! Actually, Beth was different from Chyna's over-dominant character, but she still was someone to reckon with.
Beth Phoenix, was a challenge back then. Her battles with Mickie James, Melina, Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly, were epic. Her unstoppable character, slowly become more realistic and at the end she was one of the girls who can win or who can lose, but she was still the force you must reckon with. She helped many then-Divas to establish themselves by allowed them to defeat her.
Her legacy is amazing, even more bigger than many dominant women before her, so her inclusion in Hall Of Fame is a really well deserved. One of her greatest accomplishments aside from the championships she had won, was the fact that she was the second woman to enter the Royal Rumble match (something that is not impossible today, with Nia Jax and even Charlotte in the roster). She was the second, who WWE creatives voted their thrust, that she could do it.
Really, well deserved and surprisingly soon Hall of Fame induction. Why surprising? Because there are Molly Holly, Ivory and Jazz... But we hope their time will come soon! Until then...
