Could you imagine a better way to send the Bella Twins in retirement than awarded them with the WWE Women's Tag Team belts?!

This is our crazy idea, more of thought that idea, even.
But it's not hard to imagine it?
That's why it is kind of scary.
When WWE gives a title to retiring Superstar, it is like a restart for the whole division. There might be a tournament (the logical step) that will allow many tag teams (new and old) to be put on display and one of them to make name for themselves. So, the idea is not that far from realization...
It's about gratitude and respect, for what they have done and like it or not they have done a lot for the WWE women's roster. It might be a gesture like the one they did with Trish Stratus. Why not?
Now the women's tag team belts look as controversial as always. First - The Boss 'n' Hug Connection short reign. Second - The IIconics are presented as big-mouthed bullies who are easy target and singles and tag competitors can nail down. Third - the future of the belts looks shady as the established teams can be counted on one arm (Rose & Deville, The Samoans Slaughterhouse (Nia Jax & Tamina - eventually) and Kair and Asuka (they look more like a team to me)).
So, if WWE pays that tribute to Brie and Nikki it won't hurt that much.
Fans. The Bella Twins.
The only two obstacles. But I think that at this point fans will be grateful for every change into the women's tag team situation so they will welcome the Twins even in their last match, as a Champions.
So we reach to the point where the Bella Twins are willing to get the belts, after a verbal altercation with the IIconics, as I think that Brie and Nikki could win that too.
