Ruby Riott gets the biggest opportunity in her career against Ronda Rousey ... but I've got one big question about it.
Why? This, like my colleague said, has come out of nowhere. Hasn't this happened before? Ah yes, Royal Rumble when Sasha Banks came out of nowhere to be the challenger for the belt.
There hasn't been enough build up for me to take any notice of this match, except what will happen OUTSIDE of the squared circle. This is obviously going to be a pre-cursor to Becky Lynch or Charlotte having a pop at the Champion, and we all know that Ruby isn't going to get the belt because it would be crazy for Ronda to drop the title now.
This match is another filler, BUT I am happy to see Ruby get the spotlight. She and the Riott Squad deserve the matches they are getting now - it would be nice to see them have a win instead of a loss here.
So, after all that, my prediction will be for Ronda to retain, but it will be the stuff happening outside the ring which will provide the entertainment.
