MORE ABOUT THE JAPANESE WAVE IN LUCHA UNDERGROUN AND HOW ONE EPISODE (ALMOST) CAN MAKE YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT INTERGENDER WRESTLING

The Black Lotus Triads!

That drop of fresh air we needed!

An all-women stable of Japanese Assasins are ready to take over Lucha Underground and we desperately hope to see more.

In episode 13, named "Breaker Of Bones"(taped in April, broadcasted on November 30, 2016), Pentagon had to face Doku, Yurei and Hitokiri - three at first sight unfamiliar ring names, but behind any of them is hiding a Japanese superstar and tough women who are not afraid to compete in intergender matches.

It looks like every promotion who wants to bring international class and competition to its shows is signing a Japanese wrestler. We have seen how this paid off for WWE NXT - having undefeated Women's champion Asuka and the charismatic Shunsuke Nakamura.

To create an all-female squad in one dominated by men promotion is a great, fresh, and really, really good idea. Now we desperately hope, to see more from these four amazing women. But most importantly Lucha Underground has open the opportunity for a women's title and more storylines.
