SHINE #39: TAKE A LOOK AT THE AMAZING EVENT

New tag team champions and many other surprises were included in SHINE #39. The tag team war ended in a sort of predictable way.

Let's go and check who defeated who.

SHINE Title

After first 5 matches representing a lot of new for SHINE talents (some of them debuted a month or two ago), except Leva and Malia Hosaka, who is sort of veterans.
Santana & Raquel

On match 6 we have something fresh and new, something really promising. Raquel (yes, the TNA Knockout) and Santana (Garrett) won the tag team belts defeating B.T.Y. Marti Belle & Jayme Jameson were a dominant team for a long time and it was a pleasant surprise to see a newly founded team to defeat them. Santana is amazing competitor, while Raquel is a sort of newbie for the wrestling business, despite her appearances in TNA and WWE Tough Enough. Actually Raquel had one of her biggest victories over her tag team partner, several months ago. That victory change a lot of things for SHINE's roster and we hope it doesn't mean that we will lost Marti Belle and Jayme Jameson as competitors. But we think that Santana and Raquel deserve that reign.
Allysin Kay

Allysin Kay a.k.a. Sienna is one of the busiest women in the business next to Deonna Purrazzo. Kay is one of the most wanted talents in every promotion and I am not surprised that she defeated the young and promising Tessa Blanchard. Tessa is amazing, fresh talent and her rivalry with another "genetic superior" Rachael Ellering was really nice for SHINE. But the logic insist for Kay's victory as a veteran and more experienced one.
Su Yung

Su Yung! Former WWE's FCW trainee known as Sonia, know is one of the most perspective female wrestler. Su can be seen in SHIMMER, WSU (where she is WSU Spirit Champion) and many other promotions. She is progressive and had this scary character. Vanessa Kraven is a strong and powerful, also fearsome competitor, so this match was full of twists and turns. Su is a serious threat for the SHINE title. She is on her way to the top and she deserve it. Kraven got her opportunity at SHINE #38 and was unsuccessful. Now this victory for Yung, just confirms our "fears", that she is able to challenge the champion soon.

Ivelisse
The epic Tag Team War ended in an expected way! Actually we didn't know who will win it, because we have two tag teams with 8 amazing women involved. The stake was big. The losing team will be released. I have concerns that Lucha Underground may asked Ivelisse to leave SHINE, but LU's shows are pre-taped and SHINE's event didn't harm their production. Later, last week we read the article that WWE has signed Andrea! Now seeing the results I can see why Andrea's team lose. Andrea is involved with WWE, and WWE doesn't like to share, especially their female talents. Amber Gallows/O'Neil and Kennadi Brink are involved with ROH and others. LuFisto can do whatever she wants at the indie scene. So Ivelisse, Thea Trinidad, Mercedes Martinez & ACR are winners and we will enjoy their work with SHINE in the future, while the other 3 (without Andrea), future in the promotion is not clear.
