WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN IMPACT?

A LOOK AT THE KNOCKOUTS CHAMP

Allysin Kay also known as Sienna in Impact Wrestling is undoubtedly one of the busiest women, these days! Aside from her unsuccessful title shot at SHINE 44, as Allysin, her Impact career is on the top of it's peak.

At Slammyversary XV, Sienna unified GFW Women's title with Impact Knockouts title, defeating the Demon Assassin and fan favorite, Rosemary! Now as a prime Knockout, she is waiting for her next challenge. Aside from storylines and everything, we are happy for Allysin Kay/Sienna. This woman spend most of her life competing for so many indie promotions and at the end she found some recognition and another (after SHINE, WSU and SHIMMER) constant home in Impact Wrestling .

RETIRING?!?

Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim announced her retirement from professional wrestling, until the end of 2017, on July 13th episode.

Kim is one of the women who raised the bar and trailblazing the path not only for Impact Knockouts, but for many of the female wrestlers, these days. She debuted for WWE, where she won WWE Women's title, in her first match (she defeated Ivory, Trish Stratus, Victoria, Jazz, Molly Holly and Jacqueline for it), becoming the first ever to do that in WWE and the only champion from Korean descend.  Later she added another historical accomplishment to her CV: she became the first ever TNA Women's Knockout Champion. Since then she became 6-times TNA Knockouts Champion, 1-time TNA Tag Team Champion with Madison Rayne and was inducted in GFW: Impact's Hall of Fame.

Gail promised that she will leave wrestling after topped the Knockouts division one more time. That means bad news for the current champion Sienna and her challengers!

CRAZY IS HER SUPERPOWER, TOO!!!

GWF:Impact Wrestling has a really diverse Knockouts division: One, drink and dirty veteran (ODB), several Desperate Housewives (Angelina Love (veteran, too, Alisha Edwards and Brandi Rhodes), two young and fresh faces (Ava Storie and MJ Jenkins), Latina gangster's valet (Diamante), cherry-pie sweet and innocent babyface (Allie), Demon Assassin (Rosemary), half-announcer, half-competitor Legend (Madison Rayne) Champion-Juggernaut (Sienna) and retiring-Hall of Famer (Gail Kim). At top of all of this we have the Broken Laurel Van Ness! Yeah, after Matt Hardy left, we need a new broken character!

So the serious pro-wrestler from SHINE, SHIMMER, WWE Tough Enough, etc. Chelsea Green, similar to her fellow indie college Cherry Bomb/Allie, goth her funny and colorful character turn. Crazy heel, with post-unsuccessful wedding meltdown!

I watched this transformation, from a distance and now I can see that it works, kind of nice. She even is involved in another love triangle. I admire Chelsea's professionalism and how she continues to compete outside Impact, as herself, without harming her Laurel Van Ness persona. It's nice to see her keeping a high standard of her work. We can't wait to see, where her craziness will take her!
