With two interesting women's matches that put a lot of gimmicks on display, WWE UK really made my week even better!
ISLA DAWN defeated MYLA GRACE
Isla Dawn took a real dark and a lot of crazy turn in her NXT UK career! One of the women's division veterans and former Mae Young Classic competitors, she still is unsuccessful in winning the WWE NXT UK Women's Championship, but her pursuit of the belt is constant and stable. Her eyes are always ser on the prize! In this match except for talking to herself or imaginary voices, laughing maniacally, and being a lot more sadistic, Isla proves that she is someone who must be taken seriously and will always put the women's locker room on notice.
The newbie Myla Grace didn't stand a chance in the beginning but at the end turned the match in her favor nailing a second rope Tornado DDT that looked like the end of Dawn, but NO! With swinging Sidewalk Slam Isla won and continued her rising domination for the moment with her third consecutive victory on the road.

WWE NXT UK WOMEN'S CHAMPION MEIKO SATOMURA defeated BLAIR DAVENPORT,
in JAPANESE STREET FIGHT MAIN EVENT via referee stoppage
We haven't had such extreme match on NXT UK, this year! Satomura and Davenport opened the season with a really strong hardcore event but not without a price.
We had the referee throw the "X" sign!
You know what that means - legitimate injury!
Until that both women gave 101% of themselves to make that Japanese Street Fight for the bell the masterpiece of their heated rivalry from the last few months. You need to jump into WWE Network and watch it! There were some really good spots and shared domination. Davenport tried to break Satomuras fingers, traditional Japanese weapons come into play. It really rocked!
In the end, Blair made a risky jump from the turnbuckle towards the back of Satomura who was on the post, laying down on her belly. The challenger hit the move but landed really bad, twisting her ankle and starting to scream in pain. The referee stopped the match and pronounced Meiko as champion, still.
That was a bitter defense, seeing your worthy opponent screaming and rolling around the ring in agony from such ridiculous injury! I am sure that their rivalry will continue with the same rage and heat after Davenport's recovery!
