NXT UK RESULTS (NIGHT 2): STORMING THE TITLE

The dream of many MYC fans came true!

Toni Storm is here!

In WWE!

Finally!

And we started to believe in miracles and to have hope, that we might see Piper Niven, Kay Lee Ray (in UK), why not Mia Yim(? in US NXT) in the near or distant future (it seems like distant).

So, Toni is here. She has, what we love to call it open-contract with WWE, a UK deal. Eventually she will appear in the second edition of Mae Young Classic, after her great presentation last year where she reached the semi-finals and had that epic match against Kairi Sane (the winner of the inaugural Mae Young Classic).

Maybe it's a destiny, because Shayna Baszler also went to the semi-finals, but the difference was that she did it to the final battle, losing to Sane.

So last night, after winning the #1 Contender's Triple Threat match against Portugal's promising Superstar 'Killer' Kelly and the Scotland's talent Isla Down, Toni Storm earned the opportunity to face the Queen of Spades, several days after her hard-defense against Nikki Cross (another UK zone - born talent). Storm promise to dethrone the queen and guys, she put her best effort!

But like it or not Shayna Baszler is someone who came out on top! Capitalizing on Toni's injury, Baszler was able to score another though victory for her career record. Despite Storm's amazing offense. A victory with a count-out, after bloodstained battle!

At the end, as a real bully she applied another Kirifuda Driver into the Kirifuda Clutch to punish the challenger!

There is a BIG QUESTION, not exactly related to the topic: What will happened from here? We saw a picture of many UK and not only talents, showed up at the end and we guess that the brand will evolve. We hope to see it's women's division expanded with UK talents, like the two, we mentioned in the beginning. Why not with Portugal's 'Killer' Kelly and medically cleared Germany's Jazzy Gabert? Isla Down? We hope to see development and more competitions, because UK got wrestling talents, Europe got wrestling talents and it will be a mistake, for WWE not to invest in them! So, we'll wait and we'll see what the future holds.
