THE WEEK OF BACKLASH pt.2: OVERCONFIDENCE, ANARCHY AND CRAZY WILL TAKEOVER CHICAGO

This match is far more important for me than the 3 vs.3 Tag team match at Backlash! We have a big stake - the NXT Women's title. We have three amazing competitors and characters. We will have another good attempt for dethroning of the ruthless Empress of Tomorrow.

PREDICTIONS AND ANALYSES:
TRIPLE TREAT TITLE MATCH AT NXT TAKEOVER: CHICAGO

THE ANARCHY
I am starting with the newest and fast pushed Superstar Ruby Riot! It's obvious why WWE NXT decided to debut her soon after her signing and not to keep her in the Performance Center. Actually Ruby debuted full-time before some well-known women, from the previous class, like Bianca Blair, Lacey Evans/Macey Estrella/, Danielle Kamela and Sonya Deville /Daria Berenato/. She was pushed harder. She deserves it.

Riot is unique as to appearance. Unique as a gimmick. Now we'll see what she is capable.  She is a really serious threat to Asuka's reign. Maybe she was supposed to clean up her rival relationships with Cross, before that match and title opportunity, because this feud will be a vital moment in this title match and it eventually will backlash at Riot and Nikki.

But is she ready? Who knows?

THE CRAZY

Nikki Cross's character evolved from her first in-ring appearance. She becomes more and more psychotic and wild, with every segment she does. This hard gimmick started to work well for her, with every week's entrance with or without SAnitY. Nikki is a kind of crazy version of Lita, without the high-flying maneuvers.

Cross waited for a long-long time to get back into the title picture. She was totally robbed by the Iconic duo last time and it was sad that she didn't set the things with both of the Aussies, first, before re-entering the fight for the gold. We really missed that moment when Nikki was able to face Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, for revenge. We missed the moment where Nikki was able to challenge Asuka one-on-one, for the belt, because it was logical to happen. Now she is back, after a draw in a Battle Royal, with another three amazingly talented women.

Nikki has always had good chances to win a title match. Maybe not against Asuka or not in their first two-three encounters, but at some point. Now the chances are almost equal, with the involvement of Ruby, who will cause a distraction for Crazy Cross.

THE OVERCONFIDENCE
Asuka's limited English dictionary is not an obstacle to her path of greatness. Her body language, facial expression, and wickedly-charming smile are enough to secure her establishment as a total Superstar.

The only problem is, that she becomes a sort of boring, with her 400+ days reign and short non-title matches. She defends her belt only at TakeOvers and at some Live Events. But we, the people who watch WWE Network can validate her title matches, that are taped.

Asuka became overconfident. That is the moment where heels before her, slipped and lose balance, and fall down from the top (like AJ Lee, Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix). Asuka reached the point whereby saying "nobody is ready" or "I will be Champion forever" is the sign that the success went deep into their mind and she is losing her pure vision on reality.

The downfall is near! I hope that it will be Ember Moon, who will end Asuka's reign. The Empress proved that she is so afraid of the War Goddess, so she needed to injure her.

I think that this Saturday, Asuka will retain her title, because Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot will be distracted and consumed by their own rivalry. Maybe Cross will try to overcome both women and that will doom her. Maybe Ruby will reach to the end and will lose after distraction from Cross. I think that Asuka will win again, to lose to Moon!
