It's not easy to manage division with a controversial champion on top. I am not going to fall into an essentialism/simplism or genitalism discussion. I don't mind challenging champions. I welcome them because they are who helped the rest of the division to over-jump their limitations. That's why she is accepted... and because her locker room fellows are larger than prejudice.

Nyla Rose is the face of the division as a title holder, at the moment. She is colorful and unique in her background, but she is a classic powerhouse that dominates mostly like every powerhouse dominates - strength. Being a heel is helping her character. Having squash matches to feed her is nice as wellto keep her in shape. Her match against Kenzie Paige ( who wasn't the small and tiny opponent that they could bring, but well build wrestler) was just a fed up of the 'Native Beast' on her way to a serious challenge.

Because Hikaru Shida is a serious challenge, despite her terrified face in the audience last night. You might say that she will lose, but even losing Shida will gain more experience how to fight Rose, as well as the rest of the women who will watch their match (like the rising dr. Britt Baker, m.d. and the subscribed for title opportunities Kris Statlander, who were behind the safety barrier). They are learning and developing. As well as Nyla who was a brilliant mean 'biotch' 😄😄😄!!!
Meanwhile, we need more presence of the belt! Even in squashes, but mostly against fellow AEW women. Squashes are nice to get on track but no one should rely on them to build momentum. A match against Big Swole or other not very up in the ranks wrestler will be a great strategy!
