WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARS: AEW VS. WWE NXT EPISODE #01

So, since I got only one vote on the poll about whether I'll have this rubric or weather I don't I decide to jump in the topic.
IN GENERAL:

You saw my overviews about this week's NXT and AEW Dynamite. I said it hundred times that I ma spoiled (damn, I got tired and annoyed from repeating that too, guys) and still got used to the fresh concept of AEW for the women's division.

AEW division is more competitive, but most have one match on the card. Because there is one show if I am not mistaken and the AEW Dark, which is an interesting concept on its own.

NXT Superstars in the women's division are packaged to be outstanding multi-skilled future megastars. While AEW's women have their individuality and characters, NXT's characters are a product of hard build-up from scratch, most of the time and careful planning with one goal - to fit in WWE Universe. AEW's goal is to have high-quality wrestling, i.e. in-ring performance at a higher level.

As NXT is trying to give a chance to new faces/local wrestlers, AEW is doing it with more time invested in these matches and placing them strategically on AEW Dark. NXT is giving the outsiders mostly squash matches. These days their locker-room is kind of crowded so they don't need 'locals' to do matches with fresh faces.

THIS WEEK WARS:
MAY 20,2020

NXT bets on the quantity mixed with quality and drama. They had two matches in general as one of them ended with a post-match attack setting the stage for a mixed tag team match eventually, next week (involving Mia Yim, Keith Lee, Johnny Gargano, and Candice LeRae). It's kind of interesting because LeRae's heel turn is kind of intriguing. It's well argumented and it's interesting what she will put on the table as a villain. The other match ended in no contest when the Queen of WWE and NXT Charlotte Flair nailed both Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai - the two biggest threats for her reign, down on the mat! It smells like a triple threat!

It was a nice show with the usual 'There is more than we show you!'. The quality of wrestling was really good and high.

AEW bets on a one tag team match with four of its big names including the champion Nyla Rose. The fight was dramatic. The post-match was even better. The idea to use the table prepared for you to throw the Champion through it was a really nice and fresh touch, since the last few weeks we saw only a match and then nothing post-match.

AND THE WINNER IS:

Overall, I can say that this week it's a tie for me. I really enjoyed both products and I think that AEW's direction and promotion of the Double Or Nothing AEW Women's World Championship match were nice. Hikaru Shida is really a good fighter who will put amazing stand against the Native  Beast!

NXT's storylines were also good preparation for a future booking of good matches... So, ...

It's a TIE!!!
