What better present for fans and connoisseurs of women’s wrestling to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2026 than a show from Pro‑Wrestling: EVE?

This year’s Wrestle Queendom VIII looks absolutely stacked. The event will take place at the Indigo at The O2 in London, and once again EVE is bringing together talent from across the global women’s wrestling scene.

Several names connected to All Elite Wrestling will be part of the show, helping support what EVE proudly presents as more than just a promotion — something closer to a movement. One match I am particularly happy to see involves Nina Samuels. I’ve missed seeing her regularly since the closure of NXT UK. That brand had a remarkable women’s division, and many of its talents helped shape an important chapter in modern British wrestling.

At Wrestle Queendom VIII, Samuels is scheduled to challenge Willow Nightingale for the AEW TBS Championship — a fantastic opportunity and a reminder of how respected she remains within the industry. Whether she wins or not, she will always have my respect as a talented and highly entertaining performer.

Another exciting appearance on the card is Dakota Kai, now competing under the ring name Charlie, who will challenge Kris Statlander for the EVE International Championship.

And that’s only part of what the event offers.

Championship matches such as Rhio defending the EVE Championship against Session Moth Martina, or Syuri defending the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship against Alex Windsor, show just how international and diverse this card truly is.

Add names like Harley Cameron, AZM, and many others, and you get a lineup packed with talent from different corners of the wrestling world.

Personally, I would love to see even more cooperation between promotions to strengthen the independent scene — something that events like Wrestle Queendom naturally encourage. Cross-promotional appearances between companies can help wrestlers gain visibility, bring fresh matchups to fans, and keep the independent ecosystem thriving.

Hopefully I’ll find a way to watch the show live — or at least catch the highlights afterwards — because from everything announced so far, this looks like one of the most exciting women’s wrestling cards of the year.

La edición de este año de Wrestle Queendom VIII se perfila como un evento espectacular. El show tendrá lugar en el Indigo at The O2 en Londres, y una vez más EVE reunirá talento de todo el panorama internacional de la lucha libre femenina.

Varias luchadoras vinculadas a All Elite Wrestling participarán en el evento, apoyando lo que EVE suele describir como algo más que una promoción: casi un movimiento. Durante años, la empresa se ha caracterizado por presentar a luchadoras talentosas, valientes y apasionadas de todo el mundo, ayudando a elevar la escena de la lucha libre femenina, especialmente dentro del circuito independiente.

Con solo ver los combates anunciados, ya se siente como una auténtica celebración del deporte.

Uno de los combates que más me alegra ver es el de Nina Samuels. La he echado de menos desde el cierre de NXT UK. Aquella marca tenía una división femenina increíble, y muchas de sus luchadoras marcaron una etapa importante en la historia de la lucha libre británica.

En Wrestle Queendom VIII, Samuels retará a Willow Nightingale por el Campeonato TBS de AEW, una gran oportunidad que demuestra el respeto que sigue teniendo dentro del negocio.

También veremos a Dakota Kai, ahora bajo el nombre de Charlie, quien desafiará a Kris Statlander por el Campeonato Internacional de EVE.

Y eso es solo una parte del espectáculo.

Espero poder encontrar la manera de ver el evento en directo — o al menos sus mejores momentos — porque todo indica que será uno de los mejores espectáculos de lucha libre femenina del año.
