IMPACT WRESTLING RESULTS, APR. 14, 2020: SHOW FOR RAYNE, PILE OF CHAIRS AND A SAVIOR FOR TENILLE

New talk-show segment and a match between two of the greatest female wrestlers were what Impact has in store for us.

No matter that it was pre-taped it was interesting to see the return of specific Knockout and her win and then the savior angle.

MADISON RAYNE'S TALK SHOW 'LOCKER ROOM' GOT HEATED

Citation from ImpactWrestling.com:

Madison hosts the first episode of her new backstage talk show, Locker Room Talk. Her first guest is Johnny Swinger who came up short against 70-year-old Mike Jackson earlier tonight. Swinger denies the fact that he lost, leading Madison to introduce her next guest. It’s none other than IMPACT Wrestling’s newest Knockout, Kylie Rae. Swinger tries to make a move on her but doesn’t get anywhere. Madison notes that Kylie is thrilled to be here but some of the other Knockouts don’t feel the same way about her arrival. Madison speaks on Kylie’s upcoming match against Kiera Hogan at Rebellion. Kiera praises her opponent while Madison tries to pry something negative out of her for once. Madison brings out her next guest, Kiera Hogan herself. Kiera tells Kylie she’s going to humiliate her and show her why there are no friends in the Knockouts division. Shockingly, Kylie tells Kiera that she’s not very nice before storming off.

TENILLE DASHWOOD defeated TAYA VALKYRIE.
JORDYNNE GRACE RUN-IN FOR THE SAFE POST-MATCH

In a really back and forth battle between two great names and ultimate talents, of worldwide class, returning Tenille Dashwood has won a bitter victory.

The Australian megastar survived everything including a Hall of Valhalla and she was successful in turning the match in her favor, even with Johnny Bravo's constant, irritating interference. In the end, Dashwood was able to roll Valkyrie after she was distracted with the referee who stopped Vera Loca from using a steel chair. 1-2-3! It's great to be back, Tenille!

Until...

It wasn't over! Taya didn't get the loss easy and with dignity. With encouragement by Johnny Bravo, she grabbed chair after chair, beat mercifully down Tenille and cowered her under a pile of steel, preparing to jump on Dashwood's lifeless body.

Then Jorynne Grace, The Knockout Champion run-in for the safe. She chased off the bullies with a kendo stick and take care of the injured Tenille.

Overall:

Giving Madison Rayne a talk-show is like following WWE who gave Alexa Bliss' a show. Since there is no official footage of it on the site I can tell what it was and how good it was but reading the results I get that its role, as usual, is to develop rivalries - In the case between Kylie Rae and Kiera Hogan.

Look, the match between Taya and Tenille that was hype from last week was really good and more exciting. Sadly it wasn't about Tenille... It was about Taya and Jrdynne Grace rivalry and a forthcoming title match at Rebelllion.

It was nice to see Tenille back and we hope to see more from her. It was also a nice savior angle and we can't wait to see where it leads.
