This will be one of those angry and critical posts, the one that will close any miserable possibilities to be part of this promotion because WWE doesn't like to hear a bit harsh opinions (example Ivelisse).
I am on a crossroad, and for that more later in this post. First I will pay attention to the two women's matches on NXT last night (April, 15). Britt Baker vs. Cassandra Gold definitely beat the first one.
XIA LI defeated ALIYAH
What's new? Oh, there was a story behind this match and Aliyah didn't end with a broken nose.
Congratulations!
Maybe WWE NXT will pay attention to one they and concentrate on Aliyah's possible tag team career, which is way better if she still has Vanessa Borne around, you know, according to the madness that is happening in WWE.
So, Li was the usual kicker, Boujee had a moment of dominance and it was over... Thank you for the work, it wasn't your fault! Dark times, darker booking!!!
TEGAN NOX defeated RAQUEL GONZALEZ (w. Dakota Kai),
AS UNEXPECTED BUT LOGICAL ALLY APPEARED FROM BACKSTAGE
Tegan Nox had the chance for payback and despite that, it was hard-earned, especially with Kai who didn't miss putting 'a kick' in the match and with some help.
Gonzalez dominated because it will be like science fiction if she doesn't. Dakota used the referee distraction for an unfair attack (damn she is a great heel). And then Shotzi Blackhart appeared to help even the odds. The green hair wrestler's show-up was enough for Nox to capitalize with a roll-up.
Overall:
The women's matches' theme this week obviously was 'Getting Revenger' or 'Revenge is a sweet game'. Because it was sweet for all three babyfaces involved...
I hope that building Li as dominant has some direction and that direction is not out of the company.
Shotzi's interference was a really great touch to Nxo vs. Gonzalez. It was really good and it definitely might mean one thing for sure - tag team match, down the road!
MY RESPECT TO TRIPLE H, BUT...
Pual 'Triple H' Levesque is someone who deserves a lot of respect as Authority and mostly as a creator of WWE NXT, which at some points was far better than the 'main roster'...
NXT created many great characters, wrestlers, super talents some of which had no luck in WWE!!! Sadly it looks that it (NXT) failed us and failed wrestlers who didn't get the chance to shine like Deonna Purrazzo!
What coming next is one of the bitter posts I have ever written...
