We woke up this morning with the news that 40% of WWE's employees - wrestlers and other staff are on the street without a job.
A list of male and female Superstars is circulating the wrestling media and on I-net.
1. WWE RELEASES:
NO MORE SARAH LOGAN IN WWE
A.K.A. Crazy Mary Dobson!
I remember the time when I wanted to see her in WWE. I remember the day when I heard that they were signing her. I remember watching her memorable match against Mia Yim at the inaugural MYC with her WWE ring-name Sarah Logan. I remember her time with the Riott Squad, Royal Rumble appearances, her WM Battle Royal finale, I remember that she appeared in two WWE Elimination Chambers, in Survivor Series Raw vs. SD vs. NXT match...
And despite that, they weren't able to find a suitable role for her. She was a really great worker. Someone you can feel that is born for that ring. The dream one, who enters it and despite winning or losing she is doing her job perfectly.
She is leaving underrated and with unfinished business... I hope that one day she might return - even for MYC or why not in NXT and will show us what she was capable of!!
Well, there will be no 'Riott Wars'... We must be thankful that we have Liv and Ruby... But it's not making it better...
BEST LUCK, LOVE, AND ADMIRATIONS, Sarah Rowe!!!
MARIA KANELLIS - THE FIRST 24/7 PREGNANT CHAMPION WHO WAS BOOKED IN CONTROVERSY
Several battle royals, Royal Rumble match, 24/7 Championship win and a lot of drama with her 'loser' husband Mike Bennett (I won't call him Kanellis like he is her Lannister Brother, that's not the last GoT reference that I am making today).
They didn't allow her full potential as a heel to blossom. It was nice, but a step away from great and she and her husband knew that. The good sweet Maria from 2004 and the evil, tricky heel Maria - they somehow didn't fit in this timeline in WWE! And her maternity leaves didn't help a lot, but she always returned in shape and ready... Sadly, Maria and Mike are on their way out of WWE and chasing new dreams, successes, and horizons!
BEST LUCK, LOVE, AND ADMIRATIONS, Maria Kanellis- Bennett!!!
2. WWE NXT RELEASES:
DEONNA PURRAZZO - THE BIGGEST IN-RING LOSS BY WASTE OF TALENT
My fiance, he has an interesting view/theory about WWE's tactic to hire hot indie talents and kill their stamina, at the same time not allowing them to work outside WWE PC.
Deonna Purrazzo's NXT signing was one of the greatest news for me. That young lady helped Women of Honor to be built. Appeared on Impact Wrestling. She was the busiest young Superstars in the pool those days. Signing with WWE was like a dream comes true not only for her but for many of her fans.
And then... Shites happen! Different day, same shites (Paige)...
Losing tag team match -... disappearance... Oh, she is on MYC 2018 and she even won her first-round... disappearance... Oh, she is on some NXT episode... disappearance... She is facing Asuka on WWE Raw, while her bestie Chelsea Green is facing Charlotte, wow... no clue where she is... Amazing opening of the Second Chance Gauntlet match against Shotzi... released.
They didn't know what to do with her and ruined her body and image... Her talent was wasted...
She spent the most time in live events than on TV, where she belonged. Because like it or not Deonna is one of the best technical wrestlers that they had and she wasn't allowed to reveal her full potential, like Sarah Logan, like Jillian Hall in the past... It's sad! It's hurtful and I add her name to the list of released great women that I will never forget and forgive WWE about them...
BEST LUCK, LOVE, AND ADMIRATIONS, Deonna Purrazzo!!!
MJ JENKINS - WHO WILL REMEMBER HER?
Before being signed to WWE, MJ Jenkins was a rising star on the indie scene, had a run with Impact Wrestling and worked hard to be recognizable.
Then the 'big dream' to sign with WWE and to appear on TV, came true with her appearing in MYC tournament in 2018 and have a battle royal on TV in NXT. The rest of the dream was life events, which are similar to indie wrestling shows. No, TV time, no storyline, just another name, another talent who doesn't leave the bench.
Another talent wasted and with killed career stamina, that she will need to rebuild, again!
BEST LUCK, LOVE, AND ADMIRATIONS, MJ Jenkins!!!
SARAH STOCK - WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE 1/2 OF THE SPINE OF THE NXT/WWE PC WOMEN'S DIVISION?!
Sarah Stock (aka Sarita in TNA/Impact Wrestling) |
NOTE:
AS WE OFFICIALLY KNOW ALL NXT RELEASED SUPERSTARS ARE NOT CONFIRMED. WELL, DEONNA PURRAZZO CONFIRMED HER RELEASE ON TWITTER.
YOU KNOW THAT WWE.COM IS NOT SENDING 'BEST WISHES' TO NXT SUPERSTARS, USUALLY, DESPITE IT'S THE THIRD BRAND NOW...
BONUS: UNEXPECTED DEBUT FOR SOMEONE WHO WALKED A LONG WAY!!!
Formerly known as 'The Smoke Show' of Impact Wrestling, former ROH wrestler as well, Scarlett Bordeaux (who were announced as a signee with Shotzi Blackheart), the woman who appeared in many intergender matches on TV, long before Tessa Blanchard, made her debut this week...
Actually, it was her boot, in the shot with Tomaso Ciampa lying on the ground. But it looks interesting because we saw a shot with her and Killer Kross sneaking at Gargano and LeRae, from their car and now they attacked Tomaso...
I really think that we might see Candice having trouble with this lady. If they allow her some classy intergender wrestling will be fine and fresh because she can do it (if she likes it of course).
Scarlett walked a long way from ROH announcer to a full-time pro-wrestler who faced both men and women. I am really curious about her WWE NXT appearance and I think that it might be great as Zelina Vega's debut, even better with the right booking!!!
