AWOW: THE WEEK IN WOMEN'S WRESTLING PT. 1 WWE RAW & SMACKdown!

Monday Night's RAW
July 04th, 2016

1. THE BOSS CONFRONTED WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPION CHARLOTTE AND HER PROTEGEE DANA

Well, this week segment was like the other week confrontation angle!

The best moment of this "Sasha vs. Lottie /and Dana Battle of words and we go physical at the end" angle was the end. To hear these great athletes arguing about who is The Boss is funny and nothing to pay serious attention at. It was a little bit "freshy", because it involves Banks, for a difference. But it was regular female bragging on the ring- thing, we have seen many times.

The end was good! When for a moment it looks like Charlotte will take The Boss out on her own and Sasha hit that amazing Bank Statement out of nowhere.

That's made my day!

2. BECKY VS. SUMMER OR WHAT THE HELL WAS WRONG WITH THAT MOVE?

On Forth of July started with a Food Fight and women's arguing who's the Boss to culminate in a expected announcement and very controversial match!

It's nice to see Summer Rae these days, doing her mocking and screaming. Her kicks in Sasha's face at the ring post was memorable (in previous weeks), her jobbing not! Summer is nice competitor. Back there in NXT she even was some serious challenge. Since her Main roster debut as a dancer, her wrestling performance is swinging between "poor" and "nice". Her valet role wasn't do anything good for her character, because after Fandango she jump from one male superstar to another... Her short rivalry with Lana, was something we wanted to see evolving, but Lana's injury ruined it!

What about Becky? Becky is in another heated rivalry, after another betrayal. When you see Becky Lynch's WWE career since her Main roster debut it's like a seismic diagram! Up-down-Up-Up-down-Up! Becky is amazing talent with a lack of tag team partners and friends. Well, we'll see her storyline with Natalya peak it's boiling point at Battleground PPV, this month, as it was announced . Until then she will meet Summer Rae to get prepared for the clash with Natalya i.e. to not get very tired of wrestling and to stretch a little bit using Rae for boxing bag!Or not really...

3:38/39 minute!

I watch the version of the match with length of  5:28 minutes. Actually, it was nice fight... Even Natalya enjoy it backstage (as she doesn't like Summer, neither!)!  Nice corner foot choke and second spinning heel kick by Rae! Becky was perfect all the time, even when she was beaten- up by Summer... and after the second Spinning heel kick and hair-pull takedown, something was happening that made me and my friend to rewind the video to see it again. Summer make some posing and taunting and grab Lynch and prepare her , as it looks like, for Snap suplex and something didn't worked well! Lynch didn't jump correctly?!? Becky ended in some sort of DDT, which leaved the referee and her opponent confused and worried (for a while)!!! 3:38/39 min! You can see it and feel it! The move was totally messed up! After that the match continues with series of nice moves like amazing suplex by Becky, which Summer survived! At the end Lynch, drop Rae's arm, while she goes for Dis-arm-her, but she quickly lock the submission for another rare victory!

Thursday Night's SmackDown!!!
July 07th, 2016

1. NATALYA STRIKE BACK!!!
 No match in Smack Down!

After two segments in RAW, SMACKdown!!! include one vicious attack...

Really vicious!

Nattie get some payback for previous week Becky's unexpectedly - expected attack on RAW! In RAW things were ugly, this week in SmackDown! they get uglier... and promising.

Now when WWE booked that rivalry between these amazing competitors, the expectations for their match  at Battleground PPV, are more than big, huge... Everyone who loves and respect this two talents will expect to see a great back and forth battle with a lot of submissions, suplexes, in and out of the ring fight.

We from AWOW are wishing luck to both Becky and Nattie and our hearts are with the winner, whoever she will be!
