When we look at Asuka as Women's Champion, we can see that she hardly can find a big challenge. Yes, there are a lot of talented women in WWE Performance Center, there are several who have met the Empress of Tomorrow before. But Asuka is still unique Japanese pro wrestling style's alumna and she is above many of the NXT and WWE's talents. Her reign as Women's champion was expected and well deserved. But now we have a problem! Who is capable of dethroning the Japanese Sensation?
Bayley have a rematch clause to evoke. That storyline about how Nia Jax injured her, was good for extension of the expectation's period. NXT's bookers and authorities, decide to make the fans hungry to see the rematch. And while we were all afraid that they will call Bayley to the Main Roster, back then, now we know that we will, eventually see it - the rematch! We, from AWOW, don't expect to see how Bayley regain her title. It's not logical to happen that soon. If Asuka drop the belt back to Bayleye after almost 2 month of reign, this will harm the Empress of Tomorrow's character and career, for the moment. Everything they build about her as a gimmick will fall into pieces.
Many people was disappointed when Bayley retain her title against Nia Jax. When Asuka defeated Nia, that was more logical at the time, because Asuka is a ruthless competitor and Nia is still green, compared to her. Nia was totally green when she faced Bayley for the belt too, and here is where the logic lays! Nia is strong style, dominant woman, not the first we have seen in WWE. Not the last! But at this point she have several matches against her NXT fellow women's competitors and many squash matches against indie workers. Nia needs to wrestle the top women's at the moment - Asuka, Bayley, Carmella and Alexa Bliss. By fighting Asuka and Bayley, she can improve her skills, much better, she can show what she can really do and she can challenge Asuka and Bayley to show their full potential.
It's sound as a good idea to see these three ladies in a Triple Threat match, much more intensive and full with twists and turns, than the Triple Threat match we had saw weeks ago! These three women are the top right now, as Alexa and Carmella are fighting to join them!
It will be great to see the NXT top competitors, fighting each other for the biggest price!
