DOMINATION OF POWER, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE SET FOR DEBUT EPISODE OF MYC II

We have the first matches announced for the debut episode of Mae Young Classic 2018. The episode will be concentrated on several new NXT talents, some indie icons and Rhea Ripley 😄! We expect to see a lot of great moves and some total dominance. As our sights are set on several picks that we will put on the top 5 picks later! Unluckily we will not be able to write our notes as the last year, and our previews will be late, because we don't have WWE Network anymore... but that won't stop us to find a way to enjoy MYC 2 and to write our reviews (with a lot of help from WWE.com)!

RHEA RIPLEY VS. MJ JENKINS

Good for opening match!

This one or the following one as match!

We have two NXT signees - one veteran and one totally fresh signed. Actually the fans of women's wrestling are familiar with both women, as Jenkis had her run with Impact Wrestling where she competed mostly on Xplosion, which is something like WWE's Main Event, with more matches I guess.

We'll even without using my 'clairvoyance' it's obvious who will wint in this match and who is on the rise. I won't spoil anything, but I am happy with the winner of these battle. All I want is to see how Jenkins tried to survive Ripley's new dominant edgy attitude.

So curious about that!

LACEY LANE VS. VANESSA KRAVEN

This one might be opening as well!

We are divided. I personally hope that Lane vs. Kraven will be the second match in the episode package, because I think that there must be some grading in the presentation of the battles. Oh, and I am soooo interested in Lacey's appearance!

WWE.com call it David vs. Goliath match and that what it is. Vanessa Kraven is stunning wrestler, not only because she is 'The Mountain', but she has a lot more experience than Lane. As mucha as I know, Lane is someone to look for! She is really hyped and she got that charisma, that draws attention for sure and I am willing to enjoy seeing her in action, because I can sense that this one is going to be great...

TEGAN NOX VS. ZATARA

The long awaited journey of Wales' Tegan Nox to MYC is finally over! She is here, after series of injuries, one of which take her off from the last years tournament. Now Nox will have to face the Chilean brutal killer machine - Zatara!

This match really deserve to be upper in the episode's match card! Maybe not the 'main event', but prior the main event, because we have really interesting collision of styles and cultures. I really hope to see 101 % from both of these ladies and I am looking for this match overall!

MEIKO SATOMURA VS. KILLER KELLY

It's more than Japan vs. Portugal!

It's another clash of generations and experience!

I think that this is the 'main event' of the episode. I think that this is one of the greatest if not the greatest moment in Killer Kelly's career at this point. Even her signing with WWE NXT UK (which is great) can't match the heat that this match brings to this young and talented lady's career path!

Satomura is legend! Big name on the Japanese scene, bigger than Asuka, Kairi Sane and Io Shirai, as all of them still have their path and legacy to built in front of them. For Satomura MYC will be another jewel in her crown of fame.

Ovearall I think that Meiko will push Kelly to her limits and the match will be really one of the traditional episode's Main events! I am rooting for them...

And here are our top 5 picks and belive me it was hard to left other names out of the chart because for us all 32 women are winners and top picks:

#5. RHEA RIPLEY

Ripley is one of the best NXT's current Live event's roster representatives in MYC 2018. At first I was kind of irritated to see old names returning (without Piper Niven), but then I realize: What else they can do? This is great way to put these talented girls on display, not only wasting them at Live events. And Ripley is someone who for my opinion is ready to shine in NXT's official roster (and she kind of did it).

I am putting Rhea Ripley as #5, because I the picks are ordered with the idea that the #1 will be the most interested, not only dominant and skilled! We don't want to spoil it, but Ripley is way too far from over in MYC 2018 and we will speak more about her!

#4. TEGAN NOX VS. ZATARA

I really thought to put Tegan in here, alone or to separate them to share that place, but I think that the match is too good and both women are good enough to take the #4 spot!

I am really curious and really anticipating to see these two in the ring, because their fame is running in front of them. We heard a lot, now it's time to see a lot. So, here they are as our #4!

#3. LACEY LANE

We have really high expectations for this one!

She is really colorful and according to the rumors and how quickly she was signed and thrown into MYC, she might be a really stunning and the real Wild Card in this year's tournament! Imagine who she will face in round 1 is speaking enough for the quality of her work!

Really expecting a lot from this young NXT future Superstar!

#2. KILLER KELLY

This one is someone to look forward for. We can see her as future WWE NXT UK Women's Champion and we are so happy that she and several other talented ladies from the WWE's newest brand have made it to the MYC.

Just the look at who she has to face in round one is evidence on the highest respect that the creatives are having for her. I really hope to see her giving Satomura's one of the toughest fights in their collective careers.

#1. MEIKO SATOMURA

Maybe she is predictable pick, but for us she is unpredictable walking legend.

I am so happy that we have three Japanese women this year and really can't wait to see how someone so experienced like Meiko will deal with all the young ladies on her way. It's sure that she will raise the bar and draw the maximum of her opponents.

I just can't wait to see that happens!
