On the second day post-Mania, WWE give to me
One tag title defense,
The Man barely stands,
And intriguing surpr-i-i-i-se by Paige!
My heart almost sings, despite this week's kind of cut short women's in-ring action. Actually, it was really intensive. Especially, when we talk about The Lady and the Man.
Oh, and let's not forget that the Superstars Shake-Off is coming next week to change the landscape in Raw, SmackDown Live and NXT!

WWE WOMEN'S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE IICONIC OF BILLIE KAY AND PEYTON ROYCE defeated THE BROOKLYN BELLES KRIS STATLANDER & KARISSA RIVERA, IN A TITLE MATCH
The IIconic decided to mix up their post-Mania celebration with a title defense... Yeah, Billie and Peyton announced that they will be the next not just defending, but defending for real IIconic Champions. And they started their reign with a title match against an indie team, that was undefeated (45 wins:0 losses) - The Brooklyn Belles (sorry, but I haven't heard of them until tonight).
The segment before the match was the typical funny IIconics girlish screaming and charming accent thing. The audience loves them! I like them too. I laughed and laughed at their entertaining speech. 💖The Present of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship will be not only IIconic but funny as well!
The match was... you know WWE is inviting some indies (famous or going to be famous) and book them to a job. So the Brooklyn Belles were here to lose their streak in a title shot. The whole thing was around 5 minutes - with talk the talk and the fight in the ring. The IIconic showed what tag team work means. A lot of quick tags, some simple but effective tag team moves and in the end Peyton just knee-off the head of one of the Belles, while Billie holds her tight.
Oh, and the commentator constantly mistakes the names of the Brooklyn Belles, trying to de-validate their appearance in WWE.
During the match, cameras showed Paige who was backstage and looked entertained as well, while watching the IIconics in action...

Nice match! Nothing big, just to build their gimmick of the funniest but strong WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. It was short and wasn't enough to show us the full potential of Kay and Royce, but the idea was to have them in action and to see how tag team work looks like.
Billie and Peyton have a lot more in store and we are actually looking forward to their title rematch against The Boss 'n' Hug Connection and Paige's surprise for them!...

I am always happy to see Paige. Yeah, there is a drop of grief in my happiness, but come on - it's enough just to see her mixing up something.
This time our favorite Gothic Superstar is preparing a big surprise for the newly crowned WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Peyton Royce and Billie Kay - a team of her own, as she proclaimed that will be presented next week, during the Superstars Shake Off!
It sounds intriguing!

On Monday, Becky Lynch entered the ring with her titles to tell us that she is ready to defend them against everyone on Raw and SDL. That night The Man announced the same, but before that she addressed Lacey Evans actions, at Raw.
Lynch left the ring confident and with her belts raised high... just to be attacked by The Lady of WWE, again. This time the Women's right was more damaging as the double champ, was left barely standing on her feet. Evans meanwhile watched her target with a sarcastic and promising smile...
The things got heated, guys!

It smells like a title match will happen these days... we hope next week or the following! Lacey Evans finally got serious and looks ready for business. And we know that she is someone who can push the Man to her limits for sure.
With Charlotte having a time out and Ronda Rousey with a broken hand, it's nice to see different faces, new and even old, trying to dethrone Becky Lynch. Evans was hyped for weeks and her absence from the Women's WrestleMania 35 Battle Royal, finally got its explanation - they were preparing her for that moment. We had a statement from Dana Brooke, as well and Alexa Bliss victorious return to in-ring action is kind of declaration of its own. So the line for Becky's titles is forming.
For now, we are interested in The Man Vs. The Lady of WWE title match. Two powerful and dominant women, fighting for the top of the WWE women's divisions - that is something we won't miss!
