Blood, sweat, tears, pain!
I don't know how I feel about the Women's Main Eventing WrestleMania! We expected and invest a lot of hope in The Man and our hopes were justified. But somehow... I can't explain this strange feeling... A strange feeling about the whole thing!
I am not disappointed. I love women's wrestling with all of my heart. It's empowering, inspiring and entertaining. There is a lot of passion and emotions into it. I can watch and enjoy even a 4 min. match from those dark times and could get satisfaction watching those girls fighting for their spot and doing what they were allowed to do.
Oh!
For me, the match was above average?!
No, I still can't determine it's ranking.
Shite...
Let's start with the players!
Royal look and confidence. |
Charlotte Flair entered this battle with a helicopter and added one stunning Spanish Fly to the fry. She was what she always is - vicious, confident, aggressive and insulting. Flair is Flair. She is building a solid legacy and her role in this match was to deliver bumps and hits. She's the perfect WWE employee at this point and she can quickly re-established herself after that match. We don't have worries about her.

Mad and ready for battle |
We are worried about the Black Sheep of the WWE women's division. Bad Reputation. Ronda Rousey. She definitely will take a lot of negative critics, besides giving a really good stand. She put her usual show and the memorable part of her appearance was the insults she screamed all the time ('Tables are for Biotches! That's why you like them! ' to WWE Universe). She was her own style and her own moves, she took a lot of bumps, really well. But somehow... come on there were even predictions that Rousey could defeat Flair and Lynch. But Ronda's heel persona made her totally unsuitable for the Raw Women's belt. The negativity she received was even worst that the criticism for her fellow Baszler is nothing in front of Rousey's bad reaction from WWE Universe.

Hopes and passion. |
The Man. Becky Lynch entered the ring and leave it as the fan favorite and as someone who justifies our hopes to see someone entertaining, charismatic and talented leaving with that big and important victory. She just reversed Piper's Pit for 3 counts and won the match in a really shocking manner. During the battle she was everywhere, taking hits, hitting Bexploder's from the top rope. In the end, she just reversed and had a simple and pure victory over Rousey.

Recap:
Caught in a middle |
The match was the typical Triple Threat for a title match.
There were combined moves, there were fight around the ring. A table. Some risky top rope moves. It was entertaining. There was even blood!
There were emotion and drama well invested in the whole product and I can honestly say that it was well packed... But was it enough for Main Event? I am leaving the answer to you. For me, it was kind of suitable, with some second thoughts for myself.
Overall I had the feeling that somehow Lynch and Flair compensate for Rousey. Every woman had her moment. The domination was kind of shared. As of technique it was what it was - a good technique by those who had experience, good attempts by those who still refines her skills.
The fact is The WOMEN FINALLY MAIN EVENT WRESTLEMANIA and that is the most important thing for me.
About the winner? It's kind of unclear what her exact status is. Is she WWE Women's Undisputed Champion or she is the top Champ of both brands? We'll wait and see what the answers to these questions are.
