The night after WrestleMania started with one women's match and a post-victory celebration interrupted. No new NXT talents, except the already marching up and down the ramp one. Overall, the show was interesting.
ALEXA BLISS defeated BAYLEY
The Goddess of WWE is back in action after her Royal Rumble and WWE Women's tag team qualifying matches. Almost, two months absence, and as WWE.com writes she hasn't lost it at all.
Bayley was the one to try to outshine Bliss, after she and Banks loss their titles on Sunday. Eventually, the Hugger wasn't in a mood for hugs as she went straight for Alexa and dominated for a reaaaaly short time in the beginning. then the Goddess seize full control ...
Bliss, of course, is the Queen of mean tactics and she did everything she can to stay away and exhaust her opponent. The interesting moment was when Bayley on her own decided to play dirty and grabbed the bottom rope during pin over Bliss. That was new!
In the end, The Goddess used her DDT to seal the victory.
Recap:
It's nice that Bliss is back. That might means troubles for the double-crowned Becky Lynch for sure. The list of potential title-shot candidates is growing and Bliss has some victories over the Irish Lass Kicker in the past. For me, this is a build up for a future title match between Lynch and Bliss, eventually after the rematch against Rousey and Flair.
On the other side, we had that drop of mean streak by Bayley which was something interesting to watch. It looks like the Hugger is having enough of being nice and the loss at WrestleMania 35 totally upset her. I am not sure how brutal she could get, but it would be nice to see her get angrier.
LACEY EVANS HIT THE WOMAN'S RIGHT
The WWE Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch entered the post-Mania Raw edition to celebrate, by talking and talking... funny talk, but still talk. She addressed her win, the previous night, she addressed her opponents, especially Rousey. Overall, she addressed the whole locker room...
And then... The Lady of WWE made her catwalk down the ramp. Lacey Evans looked at Lynch and her belts and turned her back to leave...or not. THE WOMAN'S RIGHT across The Man's face! Finally some real statement.
Of course, the Champ didn't leave that unpunished. Lynch ran after the Lady of WWE and the brawl began at the top of the ramp. The Man set Evans for Dis-Arm-Her, but it wasn't meant to be locked.
Recap:
Finally, Lacey Evans is involved in some physical activity, not just in distraction segments. That was a really nice scene and I like it. It makes me want to see more. Evans is a tough and skilled competitor and it will be nice to see her attempting to steal the gold from The Man.
On the other side, The Man Becky Lynch might have the hardest task to retain her belt against a long list of both brands Superstars and as we saw last night there already two (Alexa Bliss and Lacey Evans) who want to enter the title picture.
We also can add Dana Brooke who's actions at WM 35 didn't stay unnoticed - she eliminated 2/3 of the Riott Squad, and now she announced that she is in the line for a title shot.
